All the time I've been observing and partisipating in Yahoo, and not once has an Amish rode in to answer a question. Does this offend you too?

It doens't offend me in the least.
The Amish don't get involved with Yahoo answers because they don't use electricity.
They don't like modern day lights, phones, televison ect.. All the covienences we do..
I'm not sure as to why, but I do know they don't like them

There are 3 forms of question: There are those which I planned to be actual, requiring actual recommendations; ones i attempt to respond to and provide common experience recommendations to. There are individuals that are fairly ridiculous yet ...... ideal i visit get 2 aspects for giving the two ridiculous recommendations and there are those I in actuality ignore approximately approximately by using ability of actuality of their stupidity or silliness; they're meaningless or offensive and that i might desire to in basic terms answer them with the two offensive replies yet attempt to stay far off from ... different than i've got have been given been on the sherry back. There might properly be an excellent decision which i've got have been given no longer have been given the reality or time time answer

aaaaa, ummmm, and why is there never a scrap of bacon left to buy at your neighborhood kosher deli? They always seem to be sold out!

Re lack of Amish answers: I know for a fact they answer plenty of questions, but they do it well before the crack of dawn while you are still asleep, and then they delete them right away after realizing they don't want to impose their belief system on anybody (they are so gentle and thoughtful), and thats why you never see what they wrote.

Amish computers are allowed provided they are powered by batteries built according to scripture. The keycaps have to be wooden, though...

Amish people do not believe in electricity. That is the reason they are not on here. Most of them have never even seen a computer.

Perhaps you are unaware that the Amish do not participate in worldly pursuits like playing on the Internet?

Granted there are most likely some who use the Internet for business purposes, but to use it for entertainment is unlikely.

no, it doesnt! they do not have phones in their homes so no dial up or no computers. they have no electric in their homes by choice so no electronics,If they buy a home that is wired already they will take out the wires and connections.Mennonites drive cars and use electricand conveniences. Old order Amish refute all modernity.so you will not see what you are looking for from them.

I'm sure you are being idiotic or joking. If not, the Amish do not use computers, since they mostly shun electric technology.

Umm... sweetie.. no excessive electricity, that would be against their code. This means they have nothing to power an energy gulping computer... just thought you should know

Remember next time, no advanced technologies like computers, microwaved etc.
