I agree that it doesn't make any sense at all... If you are financially irresponsible and don't insure your vehicle, you should not be allowed to get any type of license at all. How did you find this out? Did this happen to YOU? Probably so by the other questions you've posted. Your only hope is to grow up and out of this childish behavior and become a decent, honest, hard working citizen. Until then of course... keep posting your problems for everyone to comment on. I'll keep my eye out :P

By the way, nice selection of categories to post in. Maybe your lack of observation is your main issue in life.

Why is this in the religious section? You should not be driving without insurance, it is because of people behaving in a juvenile fashion that the courts have to make these rules and regulations. You need to pray that this is a good learning experience for you and you won't drive a incorrectly insured vehicle ever again. Stop whining about the system when you have made the rules and regulations necessary.

Depends on your State. In this State, if you go to court the first time and have Ins. They will fine you a small fine and forget it. If you fail to appear, this ain't cool, you just goofed really bad. Not only Ins, but now you have to have a SR-22 which is HIGH Risk, for 2 years. They will double or maybe triple the normal cost of Insurance.
a "Hardship" Lisc, is available if you meet the criteria. You didn't meet it. You have a failure to appear. unfortunately, this will haunt you.
You should have went to court.

Good Luck.

Yes, it does.

Laws are made to be followed, not broken. Break the law, pay a fine. Simple.

Pay the fine in full, you are rewarded with the ability to get a red license. Pay it in installments, and you don't.

Get insurance. Be an adult.

Is this a particular religious belief you are sharing with us, or is it more of a spiritual moment for you? I'm confused as to why you posted you question in this category. I mean there's a lot of weird stuff in here, but insurance? Give me a break! :)

My husband considers driving a high horsepower car a religious experience-- but not to the point of driving without insurance.

Check with your OWN county and state-- the laws vary.
