Thank you, mr. openminded, for sharing your oppinion... how understanding and non-judgemental you are... notice how you did not just stereotype and how you did not put all Christians into a negitive light... Oh and how you show the depth and vastness of your ideology, to embrace others... that's the very deffinition of Libral...
I am amazed, if only we had more people that think like you...
Now, in all seriousness, I pray dear sir that God will bless you and yours with the wisdom and love that you seem to lack...
thanks for the blessings... the more you hate us, the more God blesses us.

Well growing up in a Pentecostal Evangelical environment was a bad experience. I believe now the Christian Church is a farce founded on fantasy. This is not just my personal experience. I have done much research over the years. If anyone needs confirmation on how easy it is for a few to control the masses, they need to look no further than the fairy tale that has been peddled for the last 2000 years by men in long frocks. Judaism, Hinduism, Islam and all the rest. The bottom line is that we are taught from an early age that we were born in sin and so you are an unworthy piece of **** from the day you arrive on the planet. If you do not do what most religions tell then you are sentenced to the bowels of hell forever. What better way to establish guilt and terror in the human race. The True Authorship of the New Testament written by Abelard Reuchlin first printed in the United States in 1979 talks of an inner circle or inner ring, the most exclusive club in history who new the great secret. In this circle were literary, religious, and political leaders who knew the truth about Jesus, but did not want anyone else to know. The Gospels are an invention to manufacture a prison religion. Read the book it is a wake up call.

I think that many times Christianity is forced upon non Christians(wanting to put up the 10 commandments in court houses, Easter, altering the pledge of allegiance to include under god etc.) We atheists ,agnostics and some open minded people of other faiths want to think for ourselves not have someone else tell us how to think and feel, as often happens with organized religion. I grew up as a Christian and still respect other peoples rights to believe in what they want but I no longer believe in the Christian god. Some people take their irritation and hate of organized religion to an extreme. They say and do stupid things which makes them just as bad, if not worse than religious zealots.

1. I do not believe in a god so they are annoying to me. How embarising it would be to pray to a fairytale god. Just too much for me to take.
2. They can't seem to keep it to themselfs. They don't seem to understand that no one else wants to change their beliefs and most just don't want to hear it.
3. They keep knocking on my door and get mad when I turn them away. I have gotten to the point that I look out and see the hand outs or the bible and just shut the door.
4. Religious people don't understand that everyone is killing each other over religion. Should be a sure picture that no one wants to hear your beliefs. Shut up and keep it at home.
5. It pisses me off when someone thinks I am so stupid that I will give my pay check to a rich man that tells me I'm going to hell if I don't do as he says and give my money to him. I feel he us just going to buy a new limo and more high dollar wine.
6. It is a scam and it is just to hard to believe that people are so dumb that they can't see it.
Sorry I just don't see how anyone can believe in such a thing.

No, for example: Church-in my dictionary say, building especially for Christian public worship. When I was raised Catholic I think I was going to Catholic church. Now I not follow any religion and I don't have any problem. I know GOD is everywhere and for ALL. Any religion is to confuse people. Any religion is scary because people made your own and don't follow right either priest. My uncle was priest and cousin is priest. I'm all my heart Believe in GOD.

I believe everyone is entitled to their right (freedom) of religious beliefs. What I don't care for . . . is when everyone thinks "THEY" are right and everyone else is going to hell. Also, the ones that go "door to door" and preach. I respect ALL religions. But I choose my own and don't want walking telemarkerters at my door claiming that they are right over everyone else.
I can't say I've ever really had a "bad" experience. I'm certainly not prejudice. I'm not scared by religion, either.
TY for the opportunity to answer this great question. I hope my answer provides a bit of insight!
GOOD LUCK!!!!!

I despise my goverment that has managed to delude so many decent Christians into supporting its horrible polices.
I'm concerned that we're going to revert back to the dark ages when all goverments were theocracies and the advance of true knowedge was stalled dead.
I fear that so many Christians seem to want Armaggedon so badly that they might make this world unihabitable as a self-fulfilling prophecy.

There is nothing wrong with a Christian, follower of Christ. The reveal knowledge in written form is found in the [Christian] Bible; however, there are those pseudo-Christians that fail to understand what is written and pretend to practice what is not recorded.
The only thing wrong with Christianity are those members who fail to practice the teachings of Christ.
One last point to the questioner: If you had read and practice what Jesus taught about teaching all nations, you would not have asked this question. Do a word study about belief, believe, believer, and non belief in the Gospel of John and see what Jesus had to say about this.

All of the above. People feel judged by Christians, making it scaring, making it hard to understand, giving people a bad experience.
