last year I quit cadets for many reasons one of them was we had to stand around alot and i got dizzy and had to sit out every time so that i didn't faint it was embarrassing, but i liked it and i really miss my friends and i kind of want to join again but everybody will know me and wonder why i quit and joined again (i've already embarrased myself enough there) i'm thinking of joining and saying my parents made me (they'll go along with it) what should i do? (if i join again i'll be in a level below my friends but i can take a test to put me in a higher level)

I can empathize. I was in ROTC in high school, and it was actually more of a social group than a class.
My concern would be: Has anything changed with your original problem with feeling faint? Is it still going to be an issue?

Remember that the drilling, standing in formation, and marching are not truly representative of the military. Don't be too hard on yourself if you don't get off on it. A lot of the people who totally are into that stuff don't do well in the real military, because it is nowhere near what you all are practicing. JROTC was meant to prepare you for success in Boot Camp, and give you a small taste of what the military is like. Even in the Marine Corps, that marching stuff is a miniscule part of the job. As long as you keep things in perspective, you should be able to participate in the cadet activities and enjoy hanging out with your friends.

P.s. The reason you faint is probably because you are: 1. Dehydrated. 2. Are locking your legs and not working your leg and foot muscles in order to keep the blood flowing; or 3. Could stand to be in better condition.

Well I am a pilot & I think the air cadets are a great place for future aviators start to pursue their flying careers, so if you have any plans on becomming a pilot, I would encourage you to rejoin.
Overcomming personal obstacles is a part of becomming a great pilot.
Also learning to take responsibility for your actions is an important part of growing up, as well as becomming a future leader. So don't try to blame your parents for your decision to quit.
I personally would have a great deal of respect for a person who is having a rough go of it, & after a really bad day, showed up again the next day for more of the same.
Every pilot with an ounce of experience knows that we all progress at different levels, & excell at different aspects of aviation. The same is true for you. I know that the air cadets means a lot of marching & standing at attention as well as a few moments in the air. But they are trying to prepare you for a career in the military, & with a good background there, plus a good education, you can join the military ready for officer training, & be considered for fighter jet training if that's your goal.
Re-join, tell the truth if anybody asks, take whatever tests are necessary to reinstate yourself, & have a great time flying.
Best of luck!

What is it you're trying to prove to yourself or others?
