Absolutely. I met a girl once who had just gotten out of an abusive marriage, and she made a list of the top 10 qualities she wanted in a husband, and prayed that God would bring him to her. Just a few months later she met a man who had every one of those qualities, and they're happily married now. But remember that God knows even better than you what you need in a husband, so pray that His Will be done.

You bet! It is absolutely OK to pray for ANYTHING. The important thing is to pray, pray, pray, and keep on praying. Never give up--pray all the time! Of course, we know that praying for revenge or money or luxuries is a waste of time, but just trust God to show you His will, in His own good time. The more you pray, the better you'll be at it. Blessings to you--may God send you someone even better than you hoped for!

Sure it is okay to pray for what you want in a husband! As a matter of fact when you pray for anything it is okay to be as specific as possible!

Sure, it's more than ok. And keep on praying. Then it's up to you to "listen" to God's answer when he gives it.
I agree with SASSY... don't only pray for what you "want" but for you to be the kind of wife that your Mr. Right would want.
God Bless!

Yes, it is fine, God will direct your heart as you pray. The things you can do that will make the rest of your life even better, is start to prepare your heart to be a good wife. Give yourself to bible study and learning, and do things with your time that are productive, get educated, go on a missionary trip, learn who you are. Read Proverbs 30 and 31, and model your life on it.

You should pray about all things. Its God will that sometimes is hard to except. Philippians 4: 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 1 Thessalonians 5: 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Prayer has not received the recognition that it deserves. Many people feel that since God already knows about our need, there isn't any need to tell God about them. This is a very costly mistake.
Pray for good judgement and wisdom to help you find a life long partner.

You can pray until your grey it doesnt mean you are going to get what you want in a husband. You have to go out there and look for one that you like and still that isnt any guaruntee that you will still get what you want.

I prayed for what I wanted and got it. I was not specific enough to important details. He ended up being all I asked for and more. After leaving bruises on me and abusing me mentally and physically I divorced him after he threatened to murder me if I asked for a divorce. I should have known when I sort of heard ok if that is what you think you need. Ask God for guidance and get involved in things you enjoy where there are suitable men your age to meet. Take good care of yourself both physically and mentally such that you are attractive to men who are both mentally and physically healthy.
