Well...don't YOU always feel better after a bath? And considering humans take baths and showers HOPEFULLY every day we feel good every day. How often does a DOG get a bath? Like once a week, sometimes once a month? Don't you think getting all that yucky dirt and oil off makes them feel invigerated and more alive? It also helps to soothe itchy skin so they feel more playful.

HAHA! Good question! It is the cutest thing though. They just run around like nuts! Maybe they are just really relieved it is over. And then, of course, they want to go and collect some new scents. My darlings love to go find something stinky to roll in!

What do you mean by crazy? Do you mean they become hyperactive and start running around and rubbing themselves against dry things like carpeted flooring or towels on the ground?
If that's what you mean then I think they're just trying to dry themselves and maintain bodily control.

Not sure why but it certainly is funny as heck!! I think my little mini-dach does it to dry off, get water out of his ears. Or maybe he is just invigorated by the water.

I always thought because he is glad it's over. Annoying though he always runs to my bed to roll around.
