I'm sorry, I guess I don't understand your question, but, I'm assuming that you are talking about feeling guilty. Forgive yourself and then ask for God's forgiveness, also forgive other's dealing with the situation.

You can't find comfort in ANYTHING?!?
Is this the correct word?
Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary

8 entries found for comfort.
To select an entry, click on it.

Main Entry: 2comfort
Function: noun
1 : strengthening aid: a : ASSISTANCE, SUPPORT: From family?

b : consolation in time of trouble or worry : SOLACE
2 a : a feeling of relief or encouragement
b : contented well-being
3 : a satisfying or enjoyable experience; Movies? Plays? Music? Books? T.V.? Nothing from any of these?
4 : one that gives or brings comfort: Are you helping others? In giving you will receive.
5 : to give strength and hope to --- Again helping others?

Check with your parents, as they brought you up, they can help the most.
You must love something, and are good at many things. If they are not mainstream - this is o.k. - be the best in whatever you do. Stay involved with your community.
It does not sound like guilt, because you'd feel something when you wrote this question. Sometimes the blahs can come by, they do to everyone, really. Sometimes I have the blahs, but I'm old, I know they go away. Now I'm back, baby! HA! Seriously, things will work out fine.
Never take meds - talk with parents, trusted friends -FIRST. The blahs are hard to live through sometimes, but you'll learn things about yourself, that you'll use for the next time.

Be assured that you are NOT the only person that feels like this ...Many times I have struggled within myself with guilt about lying, cheating or whatever else that was plaguing my soul.. I was too hard on myself just as I know you must be ..
I found my answer in my faith.......

I have also realized that there are some times when we can go back to the people we have wronged and apologize or make ammends..This doesn't mean that they will forgive me but better than that I forgave myself...
Remember that you are human , you will make mistakes and that you learn from those mistakes..This will help you discover that you are the person that you want to be ....

Remain kind and condiderate.Unselfish in your dealings and most of all develop a sense of integrity ...This is the true mark of a man or woman that wants to live a peaceful and guilt free life...............

Being you have ask this in religion I would think it is the religion that is the problem.

You should get a way from all the down times that religion brings on you. How could you be a happy person when all you hear is everything you think and everything you do will send you to hell. Religion teaches you that you are a lower form of life. All you hear is you have to pray which is a down feeling because you are bowing to something or someone that is a higher class of being then you. You should never allow anyone to tell you that you are not as good or equal to anyone or anything.

The best thing I have found is to just stop being down. Put on your smile or half smile and go have a beer or a mix drink and or if you don't drink just go somewhere where you can talk about or do things that don't relate to down feelings. A church is not the place to be. And going over it with someone no matter who it is and complaining about it all the time is no way to be happy. Having to tell people about your problems (which are none of their business to begin with) over and over will just keep you down.

Get out and have fun.. Don't you dare write it all down because that is just a reminder and don't never write it down and give it to anyone. It would be considered that you was planing to kill your self.

Remember that anything you tell anyone or anything anyone finds out about you will be used in the worse way against you.

If you're not a Christian, you need to become one. Then you'll be able to "forget those things which are behind" and get on with your life. If you are a Christian, maybe you are backslidden. There is no real satisfaction or comfort apart from Jesus, so I suspect you are looking for it in the wrong places. I' ll pray for you.

Guilt is a wasted emotion. Have some conversations with yourself, then forgive yourself for something you cannot change.
If another person is involved in your guilt, offer an apology to them.

SOUNDS LIKE YOUR REALLY DOWN. WHAT HAPPENED AND DO YOU HAVE ANY ONE TO TALK TO? IF YOU HAVE GUILT, WRITE A LETTER AND PUT ALL OF YOUR FEELINGS ABOUT THIS IN THE LETTER, THEN EITHER MAIL IT TO WHO EVER YOU FEEL NEEDS IT OR TEAR IT UP AND THROW IT AWAY. TRY TO FIND SOMETHING TO DO THAT NEEDS YOU TO HELP THEM THAT WILL MAKE YOU FEEL BETTER.
