The bible was written, rewritten, scribed, and translated many times over so it is hard to say that there is one original intention. There have been writings as well as Christians that adhered to a belief in reincarnation, but many of those writings were forgotten, lost, or like its adherents, on purposefully destroyed.
The idea reincarnation was rooted out of the Christian paradigm through three many political figures, Constantine, Justinian, and Pope Innocent the 3rd who by proxy methods was responsible for the murder of up to a half a million Cathars. Not only were they Christians who believed in reincarnation but they also believed in other gentle ideas like the inclusiveness of the feminine Divine, and were strict vegetarians.
To see more information on the political forces that in a most evil manner eradicated this idea from Christendom via force click on this link and educate yourselves to a more ancient conspiracy.

Definitely taken out but mostly for another reason.
If you believe in reincarnation then you might not try very hard to follow the Creators laws if you just say I'll be able to come back and do it the next time. That was the reasoning behind dropping the theory of reincarnation.

Reincarnation is still implied in the New Testament. First, in Mat 11:14 Jesus says John the Baptist is Elias (Elijah), whose return was fortold. Of course, this could be transmutation and not reincarnation, so we need something else.
But John 9:1-2 are much more clear:
1- And as [Jesus] passed by, he saw a man which was blind from [his] birth.
2- And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?
Verse 2 is meaningless without the concept of reincarnaton. For how could it be the blind mans' sin that caused his blindness if he was blind from birth, if we accept no previous birth?

Reincarnation and Law of karma is explained in details in Bhagavad Gita As It Is...
People do tamper with the religious books to get their own selfish needs met...
Like even Bhagavad Gita, though still preserved by honest sages, there are many cheaters who give false interpretations of teachings of God to present their own ideas...
In Bible one instance I know is that they want to change "Thou shall not Kill" to thou shall not Murder"
So cheaters are there and they will always be there.. But this does not stop a true seeker from developing Love of God...
God is still with us all the way... and his teachings are every where... When God gives his teachings he does not say - this is for Hindus or Christians or Muslims ...
No .. But there are cheaters who will claim that for their own personal selfishness...
If you feel something has been taken out from Bible, why don’t you get the knowledge from Bhagavad Gita ? .. What stops you ? If you have honest faith in God why do you fear ? You can read it online at http://www.bhagavadgitaasitis.com/en
God has given this Scripture too .. Why are you only selective of one scripture ?
SO don’t blame God... Blame yourself for being closed minded...
Bible still has verses that tell about Karma and Reincarnation.. But many Christians deny them just to be different from Vedic Knowledge...
Follower of Vedic Culture does not how ever say that way ... Every one is children of God and hence God gives knowledge every where through his so many sages... The only difference being that sages are able to give out knowledge as per the time, place and people he is teaching to... And we know to what kind of people Jesus was preaching… those who let him get crucified and even denied him..
Still this does not make Jesus teaching any Lower.. He himself said though that he had lot to tell ..

Very possible. I think I've actually heard something about that before. The early church was horribly corrupt. It was a buisness/political operation more than anything. Much of the bible was rewritten.

while literature is written with metaphor, allegory and poetic imagery, it does make sense to study it in terms of metaphor, allegory and poetic imagery. while literature grew to become into written in yet another way of life and an extremely very long term in the past, it does make sense to be certain some thing approximately how that different way of life wrote, what the conventions and beginning assumptions could desire to have been, and keep responsive to translation subject concerns. do you desire to disagree with that?

You got to be kidding, right? Why does everyone like to question the Bible? You either accept it or not, simple. All religions are faith based. There is been proof of Jesus Christ but no proof of reincarnation.

No one in the Bible ever belived in reincarnation, neither is it taught .
In fact the Bible says explicitly:
" It is appointed unto men ONCE to die , and after that, the judgment".

The belief that things were taken out of the Bible is a false one. If they were taken out, they would have had some fallacies in them.
