He loves to flirt with her, blow kisses, and even kiss her on the lips.

He also says "Momma you are so pretty, I want to marry you?" I am so shocked at this behavior.

I'm sorry, but the boy is 4 years old. He is showing affection towards his mother. If he was 16 and still doing the same thing, then maybe I would have a problem.

Your son showing affection towards his mother is normal.

You thinking that a 4 year old is "flirting"? I think that is a bit odd.

I think you'll find that most boys are mommas boys. My son was so attached to me that he didn't want to have anything to do with his dad until he was around 5 years old. My little grandson is really attached to his mother also. He's 18 months old and if his moms around he could care less about anyone else. It's so sweet because you can see how much he adores here. On the other hand my 2 daughters are daddys' girls. They worship the ground their father walks on. My daughter is 27 and still sits on her fathers lap sometimes. I know they love me but they have a special bond with their father. I wouldn't worry about your son you should count your blessings that your son knows the true meaning of love at an early age. They have to be shown love to know love and it seems that he has been blessed with a very loving family.

Umm... thats perfectly NORMAL! Most children tell their parent of the opposite gender that they want to marry them. There is NOTHING sexual about that. If you think there is anything sexual about that, then you are a pervert. A 4 year old does not have sexual thoughts when it comes to blowing kisses. He sees you kissing his mommy and thinks kissing mommy is normal and a way to show her how much he loves her. What.. are you jealous or something??? Geeze. He will grow out of it. Soon it will turn into him blowing kisses to the lady at the check out in the grocery store and kissing mommy will be "gross". If you had a mother growing up, you probably did the same exact thing!

Be happy... it means he isn't gay (not that theres anything wrong with that...)

:P

Exactly how does a 4 yr old flirt? Boys are supposed to kiss their moms - blow kisses and give hugs!!! Unless he's trying to use 'tongue' he's normal.

Oh, and every boy wants to marry his mom at some time - same as every girl wants to marry her dad. It's just the closeness between mother-son and father-daughter - at this age it's normal.

it is very normal, my son did the same thing, momma is his first love, that is the woman he knows the most, and it don't mean that he really wants to marry her, he don't really know what marriage is all about yet, my son called me his woman until he was 5, than he started school, and he got other woman, and he would blow me kisses, and he still does, they think their mom is the awsomest woman on the earth, cause she is the one that they know best(in some cases)..... don't take it the wrong way, he's till a baby! you half 2 hare your baby' momma, he does!

The reason you are shocked, is because you blow kisses and flirt with other women, when you kid is around and you fear that he is copying you and your secret might come out. Has he seen you kiss other women on the lips?? Shame on you. Actually I am just joking. It is perfectly natural.

Your 4 year old flirts, blows kisses, and kissing his mom on the lips and you are concerned? Please don't be. What you are intrepting as flirting is probably not flirting in the sexual sense. I don't see anything wrong with the kissing parts either. He's just being four and he loves his mom.

In a four-year-old his mother is probably the main female he interacts with and him "flirting" with her seems harmless. He is just testing out his social skills and most likely is imitating how he has seen others (maybe you?) act. At his age, I seriously doubt he is able to "flirt" with the same intentions that adults do. It's just his way of showing his affection for his mother--it's common!

I have four boys and every one of them went through this stage. Our youngest is five and he tells me I'm beautiful all the time. When our oldest was five, he purchased a ring from the school store at x-mas time and asked me to marry him. I still have that ring and tease him about it all the time. See, now he's 15, and he thinks giving mom a kiss or a hug is just gross. You need to relax honey, he's not going to steal away your wife.

Most little boys will have a crush on their Mom at some point in early childhood.

BTW the same thing with little girls and their daddies, too.

It's normal behavior in a child.
