You are absolutely correct...the Quran contradicts both the Old and New Testaments:
Muslims claim Jesus was a prophet but reject all His teachings ..
They reject His divinity;
they reject his claim to be the Son of God;
they reject his death on the cross;
they reject His ressurrection..
They reject Jesus is the Christ/ Messiah...
Need I say more...?
Don't be deceived. The Islamic god is totally different than the God of Jesus Christ

You can't say the Bible is perfect it was written by man, and man as we know from the Bible is fallible. Think of the children's game of telephone, as the message gets passed around the group the message changes and becomes something else completely. "The Earth is round." Suddenly becomes "Wyatt Eurp is Found." Do you see? I have never read the Koran, or completely read the Bible, but I know enough about both that I can say that the Koran is NOT a different interpretation on the Bible. To say so is to compare apples to whales, they are different no matter what politics and the media would have you believe. The Bible is not perfect, nor is the Koran. It's all a matter of faith and what you believe. What do you believe?

I will speak of the Bible because as a Christian, I believe that the Koran is a book of falsehood from the beginning. This is why the Bible is not a bunch of lies. First, the Old Testament. It contains history which has been supported by archaeological evidence. It also contains prophecy, which has either been fulfilled or is waiting to be fulfilled. With the exception of prophecy which has yet to be fulfilled, no prophecy in the Old Testament has failed to be fulfilled. Now for the New Testament. The New Testament tells us of Jesus Christ, and is supported by fulfilled prophecy from the Old Testament and eyewitness accounts from both Christian and non-Christian sources. Research has been conducted on the entire Bible to compare the current Bible with the earliest manuscripts available. The Bible has been found to be accurate with the earliest manuscripts. Even the King James Version has been compared with manuscripts that date earlier than were available in 1611 when it was completed. So we have documented proof that the Bible has not been rewritten with lies.

The Koran is not the bible rewritten but a totally different book-it is not a book about the Christian God and nowhere in the Koran does it tell of the life of Jesus Christ or refer to Jesus Christ as being God nor the Holy Spirit. It mainly-many years since I'vae read parts of the Koran so am no expert but it tells of Mohammed, a prophet and the Koran is of him and his god.

No the Koran is totally different, yet it barrows from Christian, Jewish, Pagan, ext. attributes. When you get into the nitty-gritty, the Koran and Hadith are important to understand to evangilize muslims, into becoming saved, that is all.
It all put together Bigest book to smallest, leaving it wrong in the first place. The bible on the other hand interpet itself and you can track it's history and find evidence that proves it a the best historical document to say the least.

According to Muslem writings outside the Koran...
At first, Mohammad thought he was possessed by an evil spirit.
He went to throw himself off a cliff because the voices were driving him mad.
A force and or voice stopped him then he began receiving the Koran at some point after.
One voice said he was Gabriel sent to him. However, it is believed by some Christians that it was a fallen angel mimicking Gabriel.

who say's that the bible most of us think of when we hear the word wasnt wrong? Maybe the Koran has it right and the christian bible is full of lies? What makes christians so self righteous that they dismiss any possibility for error on the part of their precious bible? It is a very small minded attitude and frankly it makes me hate organised religion even more than i do for than for any other reason.

peace upon you..its not rewrite.but it is corrected. if there is still correction means its not perfect. its not perfect because some of verses from God/Allah in the bible is interpreted based on human convenience. Do you know that bible is started to write after 76 years of Jesus crusade. We believe that Allah is God. We Muslim also believe that Jesus is a prophet like Muhammad. Both must teach what God command them to teach and it must be good for human living. In qur'an Jesus said that he never claim that he is the son of God. that's the correction. you should read the qur'an first before you judge. it is fair. Our prophet Muhammad also teach us to believe some verses in bible and Torah but not for all verses.

Even if God did allow man to rewrite his words - do you think God, in all his powers, would have allowed man to write something he didn't want there in the first place?

Good question. The Koran has biblical truths in it. But then it adds & take away from God's Word & purpose. Denying the LORD Jesus Christ. Son of God, & what He did for us.
