My apologies, but this can't be "summed up" in just one sentence :)
I have given up on people and religion. I no longer have a faith in any god, goddess, pantheon or religion. I feel this way because there are no "real" answers to the questions I ask. If there is an answer it's usually the "Because the "bible" (or other "holy" book, or name of god) says so" sort of answer.
People believe too much in the almighty dollar instead of a "true" god... this can be seen by the fact that everyone out there is full of greed, and wants everything given/paid for by another. Evangelists are asking for money not for their god, but to build themselves swimming pools and buy fancy cars. People no longer seek others for love but for how much money they make. No one really cares what you look like or how intelligent you are. It's how much per annum you make.
And there is no longer any tolerance for one another from anyone of any religion. The Christians say they love one another like brothers, yet would gladly stab you in the back if thier bible said it had to be done. Even the Pagans are no longer are the trusting, nature loving, help the word become better sort of people. All I see in any religion is a lot of back stabbing and political garbage spewing from everyone's mouths.

Yes. I grew up a Christian - Jesus was my companion. In teenage, I wondered how many other religions there were and why I should believe mine, and my trusted vicar reassured me with the message of Jesus, which includes the instruction to pass the message on. I discovered social behavior and I saw religion as a social phenomenon, and searched for the story of evolution, and I found a story that could only end in religions - conscious god or no. Then I realised that the big bang could not be proven (a fact that was itelf proven by the combined efforts of all the scientists I also grew up on), so I was stuck with uncertainty for the rest of my life, unless I choose God again one day, but I can't imagine ever believing it the way I did when I was a kid.
Peace and love to all.

I'm a Witch that also practice Wicca--an Earth-based religion that honors a deity that is divided into male and female spirituality known as the God and Goddess, and give reverence to the Earth. Being a witch is not about power. It is about learning to connect with deity and with the forces of nature. Wicca is a welcoming religion. Wiccans do not exclude anyone based on race, color, sex, age, national or cultural origin, or sexual preference.

Everyone else thinks that their religion is the right one, but what I believe is that Christianity is the right one. Here's the one sentence: It's the only religion that wants its members to have a relationship with the central character.

True Christianity.Faith in Jesus Christ as Lord.
The Jewish race is why I know Christianity is the ONLY WAY TO BE SAVED!! They have been chosen of God to bring to the world a SAVIOR through them. They have been persecuted, killed, spread all
over the world YET they are still a individual civilization .No other race
can say that. God is with them still.

I'm positive that my believes are not correct, because they make no claims. I like to refer to myself as a fundamentalist agnostic. The most compelling evidence for agnosticism is the complete lack of evidence necessary to make an informed decision. The smart move is to just admit that you don't know and get on with your life.
You want one sentence? "I don't know, and neither do you."

I am Muslim...peace upon you..you can start to read all the holy book from any religion. study the history. and read it with open mind. so you make fair comparison. use your brain followed by your human instinct. then you choose religion. If you really searching for true religion. just pray first to God. because there must be only one God to rule this world. ask God if **really exist to guide you and show you the truth one.

Wrong or right, religion is a personal choice of ones spirituality.
As long as it does not disrespect anyone elses choice of faith.
My choice Pagan. No guilt trips and I am not bound by any "rule book".
Add on....
Looked at my rating and had a thumbs down, it must have come from an ignorant uneducated and close minded Christian!

I am a Christian. Besides faith, Christianity is the only religion supported by fulfilled prophecy, archaeological evidence, and documented eyewitness accounts from both Christian and secular sources. What other religion can support their beliefs with that?
