God didn't create rabies. By the way, humans created God.

God has not revealed to us why He created disease, so we will not know until we meet Him in heaven. But He has used disease for both good and bad. In the Bible, He used disease to punish sin, particuarly in the Old Testament. And in some ways, it can be said that He does the same, as sinful activities such as illicit drug use, illicit sex, etc. can lead to disease. But God also uses disease to help us grow. It is in suffering that many realize their need for Him. It wasn't from disease that my suffering occurred to bring me to Him, but I have met at least one person that has become a Christian as a result of disease. I have also seen a case of a pastor who was very successful in ministering to lepers, when he was relocated to a leper colony when his wife contracted the disease. So it is not important why God created disease, such as rabies. But what is important is what we do when confronted by the disease.

Disease is a result of sin entering the world. Before the fall of Adam and Eve, there was no disease. Rabies was not a creaton of God.

same reason he created SIDS, AIDS, all versions of cancer, those "rare" diseases that keep popping up, ebola, ecoli, mad cow, down sydrome, psychosis etc etc.

Seems apparent natural disasters just aren't cutting it anymore like they did back in the day, so he figures killing people from within is a good alternative. Oh and he throws in "hope" as an extra little bonus just to keep people from jumping off ledges prematurely.
