Pictures of family. I have a photo of my darling father taken when he was about 2 years old, sitting in a chair..... it's still in the original frame....probably 95 years old. I found a picture of my precious mother taken when she was 2 years old. I had the photo enlarged, matted and put in a frame that looks as old as the other frame...both are beautiful. These 2 pictures are on either side of the fireplace. I have other pictures...my grandfather graduating from Medical school in 1908, my great grandparents at a ball at the governor's mansion(he was gov. of Illinois) a photo of my mom in a cradle with her mother and big brother(who later was killed in a car accident) looking lovingly on. I love my family. They are all gone, now. My husband and brother are also gone. I have their photos everywhere. They are still with me.

We have a fairly large house with a broad mixture. The usual family portraits, especially of my two daughters. Two Naturalist Robert Bateman signed Lithographs - One of a duck stamp print of two mallards and the other over our mantle of a Cardinal in a an apple tree. A Marcus Uzilevsky print in our 'computer room'.
An large oil of a winter scene - 'A Stone Bridge over a Brook' over our entry door. A few b&w landscape / nature drawings in the family room. A few small seascapes in the bathrooms. An original artist drawing of a window view country setting. A large wooden marquetry work of an eagle soaring through a canyon. An Old World map on the entry stair wall . A small color print of a Famous Bavarian Castle. A wood carved family crest (probably bogus but looks nice! )
My favorites... Two original water color seascapes that adorn either side of a beautiful pastel colored lithograph of a slender nude girl relaxing in a wicker chair in her garden which hangs over our bed. A beautifully done needlepoint of two deer running in the snow at night, done by my wife. It hangs in our dining room along with several smaller wildlife drawings and prints. Also a mounted page from a 1487 History book printed from a Guttenburg press. Also in our dining room. And some diplomas and special awards we have received.

I have a bulletin board with lots of pictures of friends and family. Then I have a Johnny Depp poster and some sort of high fashion posters of models sort of "vogue"ing it in Paris and London. I used to have a lot of movie and celebrity pictures but I recently repainted and the color is so bright and I love it so much that I chose only a few favorites.

A wide variety of prints that we liked and have collected over the years as well as a lot of family photographs and collages. Nothing expensive just copies of nice scenes and people. It is very eclectic but pleasing to us.
