if it's a wet stains, use your deep cleaner to thoroughly deep clean the carpet, prepare a vinegar rinse (mix one part white vinegar to three parts water) to neutralize any leftover residue that may cause discoloration. Apply the rinse to the freshly cleaned area. Don't soak it then repeat the deep cleaning process with your machine, ventilate the area well, using a fan blowing directly across the damp carpet to accelerate the drying process;but if it's an older stain use your deep cleaner to thoroughly deep clean the carpet fibers. Repeat the cleaning process several times I recommend to use Bissell, saturate the carpet fibers, overlapping the edges of the stained area. Cover the area with a damp towel so that the area remains moistened for 24 - 48 hours then repeat the cleaning process with your machine and ventilate the area with a fan to dry it faster.

That is a toughey! Go to the store like Wal-mart or Pet Co. would probably be the best. First decide what kind of pet urine you are trying to get out. If its male cat urine...good luck with that one cause it is incredibly hard to get out of the carpet. When the carpet first gets soiled soak up all the moisture right away and sprinkle baking soda on the area and leave it sit. Then go to like wal-mart or preferably pet co, and look for some Urine and pet stain remover sprays and or powders. Go home vacuum up the baking soda. Spray the area with the urine and pet stain removers let sit for a moment or two and start scrubbing. I will sometimes run the vaccuum over the area and do it again. Let the area dry. If the pets still potty in that area try placing down puppy training pads or a litter box, or buy some spray that "repels" animals from the area. You can also spray a light mist of vinegar onto the area to keep pets from pottying in that area. It probably wouln't hurt to steam clean your carpets and use some specifically designed carpet cleaner that deals with pets.

We use an enzyme containing product called Nature's Miracle. It not only gets rid of the stain but the odor and the remaining slight odor only your dog can smell and then he/she pees on top of that odor again and again. This product is really a miracle. We bought some at PetSmart. Don't use ammonia, that's a major component of urine.

The best would be if you had a machine like a "little green machine." Otherwise, there are carpet shampoos that you can just spray on and then rub with a small brush. You might have to add a little (just a little!) water and do it a couple of times, blotting it with a towel. Hope that helps!!

Get your pet to pee all over the entire carpet. Then it doesn't look like a stain -- just the carpet's natural color.
