ive been with him for 9 years we have a 7 year old daughter together also a 10 year old not his but she seen only him as her dad . hes trying to ajust his imigration status .hes goten no results and hes fed up and refused my help .now he refuses lawyers .he wants to go to cuba for good hes saying his daughter is going .he wants me and my daughter to go. i cant decide how do i help him .can i resolve this without him i cant just up n go please help

You really can't do anything if he refuses to do what he needs to (go to hearings/interviews, sign and fill out paperwork, etc.). Everything in immigration is predicated on the applicant wanting the status, it cannot be forced on them. If he is Cuban, he should have a relatively easy time adjusting his status as there are many special provisions in Immigration Law for Cubans.
If you give a little more information as to what his particular issues are, you may be able to get more specific advice.
