As a Christian I don't feel "forced" to go to church. I go because I love being with people that share the same love for God that I do. You will not go to hell because you don't attend church. As long as you love Jesus with all your heart and accept Him as your Savior...you will be with the Lord eternally. God gave us places like church so we could worship all together and be one. For we are His body and with us separated the body won't function as well. But as long as you love God and Jesus and give your heart to them..you're fine=)
God bless

Absolutely NOT
I was forced to go to church every Sunday until the age of seventeen ( My parents met in a church--maybe they thought that's what would come of it). As a teenager I resented it and learned to despise it. During and after college I began studying religions as a pastime. I've learned that religion is the blight of mankind, the cause of more wars, more misery and stiflement of the advancement of the sciences.
Today I am now truly atheistic and couldn't be prouder and happier. I'm raising four kids in an atheistic household. And they've turned out pretty OK, thank you.

We are taught to gather together with other believers to worship the Lord. I was "forced" to go to a denominational church as a child. I never really felt the presence of the Lord there, but I was introduced to Christ through the Bible. I changed churches as an adult and found a place where I felt His powerful presence. Now I can't wait until I can worship and praise the Lord with other believers.

god and Jesus doesn't use force to get you to know him. they don't push you toward them. they give patients and love and care . a church is 4 walls. you can be a believer at home in your car or in a business.
Mat 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
churches are a place of strength when confused about the scripture. its a place to be surrounded by people who believe as you do. you have a right to choose which place you wish to worship the lord.
my own family left a church because they started saying things scriptural and more dictatorship. now we attend a wonderful bible study group that is working toward creating a new church. but we choose that path. you have free will to chose and the power of prayer to help you on your way.
lord bless you for asked a very informative smart question.

Trust me- you have it easy. The early Christians weren't forced to go to Church- they were forced to die for their belief in God. Worse, still, is that they forced others to die in the name of the Lord. People, hundreds, thousands, tens of thousands have died fighting for Christianity.
To answer your question, nobody should be forced into anything, but young children have no sense of morality- what's right and wrong. If they're not forced into realising hitting another child is unacceptable, they'll just end up hitting everyone. Some discipline is necessary until that child matures enough to make the decisions for themself.
What I mean to say is, maybe you should find a reason to go to church of your own free well. Your parents (or whoever's making you) just want you to go until you find the same thing they find- whatever it is that makes them go to church. Don't be too hasty about religion.

No, of course not! Been there done that! Religion is not the kind of thing that should be forced on anybody. Going to church is not going to make you believe that way anyway.

I don't think you should but who is forcing you and how old are you? I'm guessing you are a teenager. If so, trust that this is natural and it most likely will pass.
Stop and think.....Do you believe in what your church proclaims? If so, you should go. If not, then do some exploring. If you're not sure then talk to someone that you trust.
Actually talking to someone that you trust and has some knowledge in religion would help you.

It depends on your age. If you are a child and your parents want to raise you in a godly manner, than yes, you should be told to go to church. Children don't really know how to run their life or always know what is right and wrong. So its a good practice for them to be going to church. If you reside with parents who believe that everyone in the house (regardless of age) should go to church, then you need to respect their wishes. If you don't want to go to church, and your are past 18 yrs old maybe it's time for you to move out and live your own life. I don't see anything wrong with kids going to church that teaches the principals from the Bible, as a matter of fact it is good for them to have some kind of a faith background and know that there is a God who is watching out for them. You never know when all the things you learn in church will come in handy when you least expect it.

No. I am not forced to go to church and I'm perfectly fine. I think anyone can worship in any way that suits them as long as it isn't hurting other people or themselves. Even then they shouldn't have to go to church, but possibly just get some professional help.
