single man I met whom I have a good friendship with never seems to have time. We talk every night but only see each other once a month. He gets off work at 4 and I am off 3 nights a week so he could find the time. He is always too busy exercising, doing community work, or visiting his family out of town. I am always told to dump the married guy and find someone who has time for me, well how do I get this single guy to make time for me?

the guy that I see once a month doesn't know anything about the other. I have only went out with this guy 3 times and since he lives a great distance from me and even further from the other guy, he would never know about him. They work in completely different careers. The single guy is tied up at school every day while my married lover is a businessman and has playtime during the day. The other guy is just unmotivated and to cheap to take me out I presume. I am convinced that I am no better off dating a single man, because they don't have any free time or they won't make any.

It sounds to me like your married guy is more thoughtful and considerate of you, and your single guy only thinks of himself. If I were in your shoes with two women like your men, I would ditch the single one and look for a new single lover/spouse. There are literally thousands of men who would jump at the chance to have you as their own. I'm sure the married guy listens to you, talks to you, enjoys your company....along with the sex. Single men should listen and learn. Women may use sex to attract men, but what women really want is love, companionship, emotional security, and financial security. All a single man has to do is spend a little more time with the girl he loves.

Your married lover - shame on you. Just remember this, what goes around comes around. Maybe this friend doesn't want to put second to the one who puts you second. Heard all the stories of he's so unhappy, he plans to leave his wife, he has children at home, she will take all he has, and the list goes on. One dating rule I never broke was dating a married man. Think about it, in dating a married man you are doing someone wrong who has probably done nothing to you. But, it's your option to settle for being a side dish. Just can't understand why you would wonder why others would treat you that way if they already see one getting away with it.

Get rid of the married guy for starters. Then proceed from there. How are you going to have time for the single guy, if you're always with the married one?

Well you deserve it since you're sleeping with a married man. Have some respect, grow up and find a REAL relationship.

how about this: dump them both and find a guy that wants to chase you and instead of "making time" for you he wants to "spend" time with you. smiles
