I am not ashamed to be American. I am ashamed that we have a president that would send our troops over to Iraq to kill people on his lies. I am not ashamed of our troops and I cry inside every time one of them is killed. Our troops did not ask for this war. They are doing what they are told. That is their job. Just like it is my job to raise my kids. Just like it is someone elses job to get your food at McDonalds. Just as if it is the garbage man's job to pick up your trash at least once a week. If someone went in to your local McDonalds and shot the people that worked there would you feel sorry for them? Would you care? I know I would. I would weep for them the same as I weep for our troops. I may not agree with the war but I will stand behind our troops and support them 100%. They lay their lives down every day, like police officers do, just so you have the freedom to sit there and say what you just said. You know what I am ashamed of? People like you who are in this country and saying they are ashamed to be Americans and that they don't care if other Americans die for them so that they can be free.

I agree about why america is in iraq. It is for the american gain and the fact that bush did not like sadam because he said bad things to his daddy.. Oh my how dare someone say something about GWB's daddy. I mean that would be enough for anyone to want to bomb and kill poeple.
However, If you really think Iraq is fighting the Americans you are wrong. Iraq lost the war and is fighting along side the Americans in a war on Islam. Meaning the war is now with Iran.

No, the iraqis didn't do anything to america. Their government supported terrorists and tortured its own people. Their are still militant activities in the area, and until they are suppressed, or the Iraqi army is capable of taking over, we will be there. America had every reason to go to Iraq. And even if we didn't, you should still support the soldiers fighting to protect you. For the record, oil prices are higher since before we went into Iraq and they did find a WMD.

No, there weren't any WMD's, and yes, many Iraqi's AND American's are dying over there... maybe U.S. shouldn't be there in the first place... but we ARE! And it's not our U.S. soldier's fault. They're doing the best they can, seeing they didn't have a choice... BUSH sent them to war!! Put the blame where it belongs. But seeing they HAVE to be there, we should SUPPORT our troops, even if we don't agree with the war!! And if you can't do that, then you don't belong here!!!!!!!

Unfortunately you are an American. You would probably prefer to live someplace where you would be killed for your beliefs. Maybe you would like to be covered from head to toe in black, just because you are a female. Maybe you would rather live without electricity and clean water. Maybe you would rather live where people carry automatic weapons and shoot them up in the air in celebration, when an American dies. Dislike the Current administration don't dislike the country. Believe me most countries are corrupt. Overall the US is better than most. Though it has been getting worse lately.
The thing is the ability to change is built into the US constitution. God willing the people will start to stand up to the current administration and their self serving ways and make a change.

We are not fighting Iraq. Our battle is against the terrorists. America is in Iraq so the people can have a constitutional democracy with freedoms for the people. I have been praying for freedom of religion there also. As far as I know that hasn't yet been part of the constitution.
I praise God for our first Amendment. Even for separation of church & state.

Saddam Hussein was murdering his own people. His son beat and maimed the national soccer team for losing. No one had money, food, or comfort except for Saddam. The American soldiers have freed the real citizens of Iraq and they are appreciative.
