Wherever you practice your faith, Church or Temple, check out any single social functions, join a few committees or volunteer for any community action programs run by the church or temple. Getting out and meeting people and seeing what is being offered is the best way to meet guys. There are real christian men out there. They are probably trying to meet you too!

He can not lean on being a Christian to cover up laziness and not following through with commitments. Many of us have to work on Sundays and that should not be an excuse. The problem is that now he is an employee and he can demand not to work on Sundays for religious reasons. However, I would suggest that you have an employee evaluation, wherein you point out his dificiencies such as carelessness, making personal calls etc. You need to give him a timeline for improvement, and also include exactly what is expected in the workplace. You can say the original agreement was that he would be available on Sundays, but I would encourage you to be flexible on this as you don't anylegal problems. However, if it was the original agreement and he was already a Christian, he should abide by his contract with you. I would institute this process immediately (there are actually forms and such at office stores). It would be a good idea to do this for all your employees, as well, so he can't say he was singled out. If he doesn't make sufficient progress on your areas for improvement, I would let him go, and he can't cite religious religions for all the other shortcomings.

What do you need them for?
It seems that you have a very clear picture of a REAL Christian, but it won't help if others don't know what it's like.
