No. The term is referring to the "catching up in the air" of believers prior to the time of the great tribulation.
(another example is that the word "Bible" is not found in the bible but we know what the bible is)

This is found in 1 Thess. 4:16-17
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be cauth up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and thus we shall always be with the Lord.

There will be many chaotic events that will take place from then on until the time of the tribulation is over.

If you are sincerely interested read and study the bible for yourself. Keep asking questions. Find bible believing Christians to do a bible study with. AND any answers you get check them for yourself in the bible.
Hope this helps. Hope you will be caught up with the believers when the time comes!

The word "rapture" is not found in the Bible.

Some claim that 1 Thes. 4:16-17 teaches the rapture. Problem, they saw people will suddenly disappear when they are caught up with Christ and others won't know what happened. They say these other people will wonder what happened to those who just vanished, but this verse teaches that the Lord's coming will be with a "shout", the voice of an angel, and the sound of a trumpet! This is not a "secret" coming of Christ.

Others say the rapture is taught in Matthew 24. Problem: This chapter says the coming of Christ will be "just like the days of Noah". This chapter goes on to describe that in the days of Noah, normal life continued until the flood came and took them (the evil) away! The evil were taken away (swept away) by the flood and only Noah and his family were "left behind" to continue life on earth, but the rapture theory has the good being taken away and the evil left behind. The rapture theory has the wrong ones taken.
Jesus will have come to earth. If someone is taken away, they are taken away from the place where the Lord has come. I want to be left behind with the Lord!

The word "Rapture" isn't in the Bible. It would be absured to say it would be. Let's remember that the Bible wan't written in english. The original text which was greek and written as "harpizo" which means "to be caught up". when later translated to Latin, the wrote "rapere" which is the root word of Rapture, so there you go. =D

As to the actual order.. it's a lot. I'll give you a few highlights then later I'll give you a link

Before the rapture:

aww man, can't bother LOL

http://www.livingwaters.com/Merchant2/graphics/tracts/prophecy/index.html\

check that link, it has 101 signs of Jesus' seond coming.

I'll give you a highlight.
1.Israel will be reformed (it was in 1948 i believe)
2. Israel will be surrounded by their enemies (the war suddenly making sense?)
3. This generation SHALL NOT PASS
meaning that the generation that sees all these signs happening listed in the 101 article will NOT pass, as in, the will not all die out (sorry to put it that way)

AFTER the rapture

The truth stands that there are tooo many things to name so visit this site

http://www.the-tribulation-network.com/denemcgriff/chronology_of_revelation.htm

1. The signing of a peace treaty between Israel and a global gov. or a russian based group or dictator (either before or after, exact order no clear)

2. The 2 prophets at the wailing wall

3. The plagues etc. The global earthquake

4. The great army of 2 million horemen i believe. They will hunt the nemies so thAT THEY WILL BE AFFLICTED

5. The Plauge of locust that will drive many to try to kill themselves but this will notbe done as they will not have the power to kill themselves.

6.Death of the two prophets at the wailing wall

7. The resurection of the two prophets as they ascend to heaven

8. The death of the "world ruler " antichrist

9. "resurection" of the antichrist (at this point, he is indwelt by satan himself"

10. The mark of the beast

11. The final solution to the christian, jewish, well, non-global religion member problem ie. mass killings believe this EVEN WORSE than the holocaust

12. God's people will flee to a safe place where no one not of God can enter. It is said that the earth will swallow their enemies up.

13. Great miracls will occur such as the drying up of the Euphrates river.. as we all know is a HUUUUGE river, and the turning of water into blood, but not for the Children of God

14. The antichrist will veinly attack the Children of Israel

15. The "Glorios appearing" Jesus will apperaafter his sign is seen in the sky and will "devour" his enemies with the word of God (the bible) no weapons of the flesh needed. It is said that at his mere words, thousands upon thousands of his enemies will die (not pleasantly) and they will be banished for a thousand years

16. The Glorious Kingdon will be established (JESUS himself will rule the kingdom) I'm not sure if everyone will live for so long, but I beilieve it's implies

17. after these thousand eyars, Satan will be set free once more and banished, kaput.. he's gone and good will prevail. No more Stan, no more Evil. We we all live together with God with no evils to plague us. (The earth will be destroyed around this time)

Hope I helped

No,it does not appear in the Bible. It is a man made doctrine. The same as the concept of a Trinity God and hellfire.
Rapture has been confused with Christ's Heavenly presence in Kingdom power. Some translations has misinterpreted the word 'presence' with 'coming' and the idea of a second physical coming and from that the event of rapture was added and so it goes....

But rapture, hellfire and trinity are not Bible teachings. We need to examine our faith to ensure what we are learning is indeed Bible based and not based on pagan teachings or man made doctrine.

Not in the King James Version the word "rapture" is not mentioned. It will happen quickly and no not chaos, after the rapture I'm sure there will be lots of chaos, but not during. Just everbody that has a place in heaven will be gone and those "left behind" will wonder where they went. (Therefore-chaos)

the term isn't used. neither is trinity. the word bible isn't used in the bible. though, i believe in all the terms mentioned.

the first human ever raptured is enoch.
there's something a bit prophetic about the 10 main servants of God prior to the flood. Enoch was the 7th patriarch. Methuselah's name prophesied the flood. Even the flood and the family being rescued is prophetic in relation to the end times.

Justin Martyr and other early Christian fathers believed in the rapture, the coming 7 year period, one man antichrist, and 1000 earthly reign of Christ. Even Augustine believed it until he met up with Jerome. Jerome of course translated the Latin Vulgate bible.

Some timelines list Justin as one of the understudies of Polycarp. Polycarp was an understudy of John, the youngest disciple of Christ. Early church fathers say John died at 105 years old in 120 AD. This would've made him 15 when Christ died.

Yep. I got off subject. My bad.

The concept is found in a couple of places, but what it says is two people will be together and one will suddenly not be there, and people assume this is the "being taken up" part. I think its an entirely different occurence. The word rapture is not found at all. I believe in "being taken up", at the end of the tribulation (chaos), right before the final wrath. The bible tells us that He will save us from the wrath, but a lot of theologians take that to mean He'll save us from the trib, but that's not what it says. Also, in the book of Enoch, first chapter, it makes it pretty clear that its not believers who'll disappear, but the evil ones. Regardless of who disappears from the earth, I believe He will get us (taken up) right before the final wrath.

NO> the popular "Left Behind" rapture is NOT biblical!! Instead all believers in Christ will be "lifed into the clouds" to be with Christ on the LAST day> Read The Bible, and pray for understanding> peace.

Rapture is a false believe, no where in the bible says such a thing, in fact, Revelation 1: 7 says that when Jesus comes back every eye will see him.

God bless!
