That is the wise thing to do to avoid the patient getting an INFECTION...Patients would get many infections in the Operating room if they did not scrub

because if there is contamination and it is found out that it is due to germs from the doctor or nurses then there is a HUGE malpractice suit and the doctor can face having his/her license pulled
