With intelligence comes responsibility. Sometimes intelligence means you must educate gently. Sometimes it's just nicer to be fat, dumb and happy.

Yeah, it can at times. People call you "geek", "dork", "nerd". They get jealous of you and say you're a braggart, when in reality you're not, because in REALITY, you're almost ashamed of your own intelligence. I say that because you as an intelligent person, are able to be aware enough to know that your intelligence is what is keeping you from having a social life. Nerds generally KNOW they're nerds and geeks. We don't need reminded, and to MOST of us, being called a "geek" or a "nerd" is not an insult, but rather a compliment. Why people TAKE it as an insult is beyond me. That's like saying "hey, I just called you a rare to find smart and intelligent person" TAKE THAT! LOL..whatever. Kind of a catch 22 deal. Yeah, it sucks for me, because I've noticed that I've become even MORE of a loner, because the more I educate myself, the more I find that I have fewer and fewer people that I can hold an intelligent conversation with at my level. Therefore, I become more isolated, and as a result, even LESS of a social life. Sometimes I think though, that I'd rather enjoy my solitude than feel like I'm beating my head against a brick wall trying to talk to someone that just doesn't "get it".

no, being intelligent is easy on school. And with those 'at least bachelor degree' and or 'master degree', you can't get a better paid job. Even with a master degree, doesn't mean you can earn enough money, everything's (nesscessary items) is so expensive, the tax is so expensive, after all those cost, you really don't have much money left. Takes a long time to save money buy a car and a house.

Well i truly hate it when I talk to ermm less intelligent people and they always like to go, 'Huh??' after every smart sentence i make with one or two difficult four-syllabled word (think ubiquitious). Then I'll have to say it in laymen terms. I'm not showing off or anything, speaking in complicated sentences comes naturally to me (I'm a writer) but it does suck when those around you cannot understand me at times. BUT.. this is where my bf comes to the rescue and the main reason why he's my bf.. cos he's EXCELLENT in the English language lol....
All in all, it sucks occassionally but most times (when you are around people in the same league as you), it rocks to be intelligent.

Someone who is Super Intelligent in math is something that I drives me envious to the max!
Ive always had trouble w/ math.. well, until I got into college and had a way better teacher. But I always wished that I could be a math wizard, because you can achieve any engineering job and be highly employable if you know math well.
If I could wish for any intelligence, it would be for math first.

No it doesn't suck being intelligent. What sucks is the attitude that comes with it.

Being cool with the fact that you know you are one makes you cool with others. Being braggy about the fact that you are one makes you a major ******** with others.

Not particularly. My best friend...he is unbelievable at grammer and words and constructing sentences and people barely understand what he is saying half the time. You have more inside jokes that people don't get even if explained when you are really smart. I don't mean to be conceited but it's true.

No, it's actually pretty useful and people respect your intelligence. So if you're smart, let it out!

IQ: 140-150
Side effects: OCD, casual social impairment, discontentedness, feeling of disconnection, overanalysis, constant feelings of failing to live up to potential.

With great gifts comes great suckage, but I wouldn't trade it in.
