I'd see a doctor and get some advise. I usually take a nice warm bath. Put a cool compress on my head. Take sudafed. It helps me, but everyone is different.

Try Benadryl and also.....
Make a tea of the herb goldenseal or eyebright. Strain, put the cooled tea in a dropper bottle. Use this as an eyewash to reduce the burning, watering, and the inflammation caused by many allergies.
To build up resistance to allergies, diet is important. Avoid dairy products, sugar, and refined foods.
Take vitamin C, pantothenic acid, and dolomite supplements.
Parsley and bee pollen decrease allergic reactions.
Take the herbs juniper and comfrey in capsules for prevention.
Take cayenne pepper and garlic together to dry up the sinuses

Are you sure it's allergies?? If it is, what are you allergic to, and is there any way you can remove it/avoid it?? I would ask your doctor as well...they might be able to give you a prescription or maybe you would qualify for some allergy shots to help your body defend itself against whatever you're allergic to? Whatever it is, it sounds very serious though, especially since it sounds like you have swollen glands...your body is fighting off something...go see a doc! Hope you feel better!!!

You cannot "cure" your allergies, but you can find some relief. I have been allergic to cats ever since I remember. When I took over-the-counter or prescription allergy medicines, they would knock me out. For example, Benadryl knocks me out for AT LEAST 24 hours. Even the medicines that claim to be NON-DROWSY make me sleepy. I found Singulair works well for me. Your body acts that way because your body thinks the allergens are "attacking" it, even though your body is just reacting to them. Start out with something like Sudafed or Benadryl. Good luck; I empathize with you!!!!! **sniffle, sniffle**

You are allergic to vegetables. The only way to a cure is a nice, big, steak.
