Green Grasshopper ~
It's on Broad Street in Philadelphia, about two miles north of the legendary Blue Horizon. It's a tan color stucco building with "Joe Frazier's Gym" above four huge windows, etched in the concrete next to "Joe" and "Gym" are two boxing gloves. When you walk in the front door, at least in my opinion you would think the place would be bigger but I thought it was kind of small, there's a elevated ring maybe 15x15 a couple of mats, and two or three speed bags. The back of the gym houses offices, where Marvis, Joes son can be found. There's a few pictures of Joe up on the walls. The gym is very clean and well maintained. There's a gas station right next to the gym with a large parking lot and as long as you park up against Joe's building, I don't think parking is a problem. In my opinion, it's not the safest area of Philadelphia, so if you are a female working out after dark, it probably would be wise to have an escort. It's one of the better Gyms in Philadelphia, Front Street Gym (not on font street) James Schullers Gym and Joe Hands Gym are a couple other fine gyms (Boxing) in Philadelphia.

It sounds like a good old fashioned boxing gym. No frills and without the bullshit of modern gyms.
