For people that don't believe in Jesus Christ, just think for a moment, what if he is real and really is what people say he is and what he says he is.....If that is true (which it is) he was beaten unmercifully, beyond recognition, by masters of the trade of torture. When I say beyond recognition, the movie The Passion Of The Christ couldn't show how bad he was really beaten. If the first is true, everything that follows is true as well. Why don't you stop saying he isn't a god of love and that he just wants to get a show from watching us all run around. If everything I've brought to the table is true, isn't he a God Of Love?

the passion of the Christ is a disgusting creation.
1st. How dare Hollywood release a movie for $10 a pop profiting off of the suffering of Jesus.
2nd. While it is true that Jesus suffered and died at the hands of the Jewish religious leaders and the Romans, the movie conveniently leavers out the whole point of his suffering. The teaching that leads those to understand what exactly Jesus died for and how we are supposed to respond so as to benefit from the MESSAGE!

Not everyone will believe, and that is to their detriment. But I do have to say to the person who said that the Bible says Christ should have returned in the year 2000 doesn't know what they're talking about. Nowhere in the Bible does it say when Christ will return. God is a god of love. It astounds me how people who don't know Him seem to "know" so much about Him. They speak what they hear others say, or what they think they know about Him, or what they want to be real about Him. They take out all their aggressions on Him and all who follow Him. They call us "sad" people. They're the ones I think are sad, and they must be really miserable to spend so much time on this site spewing as much hate as they can against God. Remember, Christ said they will hate us b/c they hated Him first.

I'm not sure I understand all that you are saying, but just because it is possible a man named Yeshua who was from Nazareth got crucified (an extremely common punishment often dealt out by the Romans) does not mean that man is a god/the son of a god/the redeemer of mankind. Just because there are parts of a certain book--any book--that may be historically accurate does not mean the whole thing is.

My daughter has been going through this "what if" stage for months now, but it's getting to the point where she's beginning to realize that life doesn't wait for what-ifs. She's becoming aware of the consequences of her own actions, and "what if" only happens within the imagination. Did I mention, she's eleven.

I am Pagan and i believe in many gods of love and peace.

however i will now and always will REFUSE to worship a
god that claims to be of love and peace. yet allows his followers to start wars to spread his name. to kill people just because they do not believe in your god.

and furthermore allow his current followers to claim that God will not take a direct hand in the path of man as a way to excuse that god's
apathy to the men women and children that HIS followers KILLED for no reason.

he may be a god of love but his apathy for those not of him is disgusting to me.

this would be like seeing 4 kids in a burning building and not even calling the fire dept simply because they are not your kids.

I expect more of the gods that i choose to worship.

I do believe Jesus is th Son of God and Savior of the world...
and I have repented of sin and trust in his death on the cross as payment for my sins as the scripture says.

Oh, please....

Was it really that much of a sacrifice?

If you allowed yourself to be crucified that would be a sacrifice because WE all know you're NOT coming back.

But Jesus KNEW he was coming back. So was that REALLY a sacrifice?

We are all worth a Son to God....That is truely an awsome thought. He loved me when I was unloveable.

It makes no sense that God would want only one individual to "save" mankind when it would be much easier for all of us to "save" ourselves. Makes no sense that there was only one Savior. Makes a lot of sense that we are all saviors.

Mussolini was beaten pretty bad, too. Does that make him a dictator of love? One has nothing to do with the other.
