heck yeah. my heart breaks everytime my daughter cries (unless it's for a silly reason like i told her she could not have a certain pair of jeans or spend the night with a friend or something like that). and i have cried before just because she was crying. i love her so much, i hurt when she hurts. (i know her teenage years with boy troubles and peer pressures and all the other girly dramas are gonna be ruff for both of us)

Anytime my child is hurt or has their feelings hurt it makes me want to cry. I think as a parent we always want our children to be happy and not have any worries. I've had to discipline my children before and it makes me sad but we have to do what we know in our hearts is the right thing for our children but it might not be a popular decision, especially if it's not allowing them to do something their friends are allowed to do.

Sure.
For example, my now three-year-old made a great adjustment to having a new baby (now one-year-old) around. Most of the time they're the best of friends. But tonight, we were cuddling before bed, and she told me that "Everyone loves Stella, but no one loves her big sister." Heartbreaker, right?
I know it's because she has a lot of changes going on in her life (starting preschool, losing buddies at daycare, etc), and the baby is walking and talking and doing all kinds of great tricks, so it makes sense that she's insecure and needing a little extra.
I'm glad she's able to articulate her problems and that they're still easy for me to solve for her.
But it's always kind of sad to know that she's sad...

Yes depend what it is. My kids were like 14mos when I moved them to their own bed and would scream and I myself would cry because I felt bad for them. Now that they are older crying does not affect me as much especially since alot of it has to do with them just mad because they are not getting their way. I still hate to see them cry but its part of being a kid and dealing with their frustrations.

Yeah, usually when they're crying because I've been cross with them. Or mean. But I usually either laugh or apologise\and have a big cuddl with them.

sometimes yes. it depends on what he's crying for. My brother's family moved away a few months ago and my son wants to see his cousins and cries when he can't, and it makes me cry too because I miss them
