have your god done anything physically to stop evil? has he ever grab a sword/AK47/Nuclear bomb and kill all the evil ones?
should evil be left alone until it destroys good? or should good fight evil to destroy it? or are you waiting for the return of jesus? dont you think that if jesus came to fight evil and finds that evil is abudant the job will be harder for him? do you think he'll wonder why did my people let evil grow so big?
if there's a god dont you think that god would want his followers to take some responsibility of this planet they are living on?
the big question is should people fight evil to destroy it or should people let evil destroy good?

if paul told you that the fight is not blood and flesh and it's all " spiritually " then why did bush retaliate to 9/11 he's christian and said that jesus told him to fight evil.

the big question is should people fight evil to destroy it or should people let evil destroy good?
That's a heavy question...My opinion is that believers should spread the gospel. The main message of the gospel is that God loves everyone and desires that all humans go to Heaven. Because there is free will we choose either God's way or our own. Muslims, because they don't accept Jesus as their savior, don't abide by the same rules. The rules don't even apply to them. So, they feel it's acceptable to "destroy" anyone who doesn't believe.
Another part of your question is about believers taking responsibility for some of the evil on Earth. I think this is exactly what President Bush was doing after 9/11. His country was attacked and a multitude were killed senselessly. He took action.
So, this question is hard. As Christians we are to love our enemy but I think there comes a time when we have to take action against our adversaries. Wars have been going on ever since Cain killed Abel. It's life, I guess.
As for your other questions:
I believe that God does things through humans to stop evil.
I am waiting for the return of Jesus.
Jesus/God is so powerful and righteous that He won't have to "fight" to destroy evil, it will just cease to exist because it can't in His presence.
I don't think He'll wonder why we let evil "grow so big" because He has an ultimate plan that none of us know.
Yes, we should take some responsibility and stand up for what's right all the time.

The thing with that question is that it's already biased. You expect an answer without expecting an explanation from a religious perspective. We believe that we should not hurt others because it's against the commandments. We can hate, yes, but we cannot hate the sinner, we can only hate the sin. We fight evil with good, if that doesn't work, we keep on trying, if all is lost, we are no longer held accountable for one's sins and we move on.
From a Christian's point of view, Evil will NEVR erase all good. There's this even in the Bible that has been predicted from MANY years ago, that says that Christians (who are true) will be raptured (snatched to God) and will be spared the great tribulation. What's this Great Tribulation? It's when the SAntichrist finally take ver. There's a REALLY good movie you can watch about this (left behind) or you can be lazy (like meeeeeeee) and google it at
http://www.livingwaters.com/Merchant2/graphics/tracts/prophecy/index.html
looong link =D
if you don't wnat to trust this, you cn check the bible, but don't be sterostypical ad check Revelations firt. It doesn't hold much information about the pre-raptured world. Ity mainly explains the period of time after the rapture. Check Isiah and you can google "prohetic books bible" and see if you have any luck.
We continue on KNOWING that it will never get so bad that we cannot go on, but that this too shall pass
And yes we believe we should fight eveil, but not going and killling murderes, what does that make us, obviously not better than the man who killed his wife or the adulterer. We believe in fighting evil through spirituality. No rocks or waving crosses but explaining what what Jesus did for us. There are some things that we cannot do, fighting evil and winning is one of them. If you have some background info on the Bible, you would know that. So instead of berating us with sly comments, take some time to undersatnd where we're coming from before
I'll give you a little hint. That's why Jesus will coem back. And if you erad on (in the Bible ) you will see that is is NEVR too much for him to bare; that the Antichrist will flee in fear and thousand of his enemies will drop dead, and not in pretty ways. The bible isn't G-rated. Though Go'ds love in boundless, his patience isn't, and it's wearing thinner each passing day.

That's a very good question. From what I can tell, there are at least two distinct ways of fighting evil: governmentally and individually.
Individuals are told to fight evil with good: do not be overcome with evil, but fight evil with good: if your enemy is hungry, feed him, if he's thirsty, give him something to drink.... (Rom.12:14-21) The idea here is that the love of God in an individual, shared to another individual, is more powerful than the evil influencing that individual. That's why there are christain marytrs: they don't pick up the sword and fight the people they are 'loving'. They keep on ministering to them and are often killed in the process.
Governments are different. They are not charged with overcoming evil by doing good per se. In fact, we are told to be careful how we conduct ourselves, because the governments do not 'bear the sword for nothing' and those who do wrong will be punished by governments, as well as by God.(Rom.13:4)
That being said, I don't believe that being a christain means you can't serve in governmental positions, which would require you to pick up a sword or AK47. Although I can understand where someone might view their position as an individual to be conflicting with their position as a governmental agent, such as a soldier. The scriptures also tell us to 'work out our own salvation with fear and trembling' while we have the attitude of Jesus. (Phil.2:12) That is appropriate in this case and in other cases. It gives the individual not only the right, but the responsibility for making these decisions the best they can. It is part of the burden and priviledge of free will.
You have to do the best you can do, while being humble before God and each other. In my experience, true humility helps me decide well in difficult circumstances such as these. And it is usually when humility is lacking, and pride colors my thinking, that I really make the worst blunders.
Hoping the best for you...

Evil is not so much a black and white word. There are many factors to understanding "what is evil" and when and if we should intervene.
For me, evil is when a child is being hurt. This would be the gauge for judging what is evil. If someone is hurting a child (physically, mentally, economically, etc), this is evil.
However, there are many levels to acting. Fighting evil could be understanding where politics stems from (in other words, if one party is motivated by companies rather than the people...such as going to war for Oil companies, diverting money for the elderly, poor and children of poor to that of the rich, I'd say that was an evil party and I wouldn't vote for them).
I totally think that if there was a God, that God would definitely want the world it created to be blessed for all it's people...not just a few in one part of the world.
I'm a liberal Christain Agnostic, by the way and I think understanding that a God or a Good of all is there. And yes, we do need to do our part to correct evil behavior and make this world safer for our children and for all children.
I'd also add that Bush is not a Christian. He is a maniuplator and liar. His administration even knows he's a liar and lots of people dropped out of his power group like Colin Powell and other high ranking officials. Believe me, in a year or two the lies will be unmasked and hopefully jail time will ensue. Keep remembering Jim and Tammy Baker..."Christains" until they got caught...the masks will melt...
Just wish so many people didn't have to get hurt/killed by this moron, bush.

I am not waiting the return of Jesus because it has not gone anywhere I see him every day when I look into my youngest 's eyes or a new born baby

You really should read more of your Bible and also take a look at the book http://www.booksamillion.com/ncom/books?id=3558378659090&isbn=1598240277 to see that we do fight evil and are part of the war between good and evil. But Paul told us our battles are not of flesh and blood. We are in a raging all out Spiritual War even more important and more deadly that what you refer to.
Violence should always be the last resort, however, the Church does teach such as thing as a "Just War" but there are a number of conditions that must be met in order for it to be a just war.

God said Vengeance is mine,God was going to destroy soddom and gamorrah, and lot said will you spare it if i can find 50 good people, and he went all the way down to 10 and couldn`t find that many, so angels had to carry lot and his family out of there, and lots wife looked back and she turned into a piller of salt, If we fight and kill, that makes us no different then the evil ones thats doing it, If they smite you on the one cheek, turn also the other cheek. as christians we win souls to God by our love for one aother, not by destroying life. we have all been sinners, who are we to know if the one we killed would not have gotten saved at some point in their life, if the right words or deeds were done. Jesus did not come to save those that were already saved, he came to save the lost. Remember they are lost and have not found the way.

Jesus gave you the power to protect yourself from evil aka the devil. just call on the name of jesus. he never needed a bomb or any other weapon, he is the almighty one, and nothing is too hard for my Lord. He is strong and mighty. when Jesus comes back for his church he will destroy evil and all the earth and the unbelievers in a twinkle of an eye.
we are taking responsibility, we are telling everyone that "God so loved the world, that he gave his only son, that whoever believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life" John 3:16
who are we to decide on who is evil enough to destroy. so should we just get weapons and try to destroy everyone who we think is evil? we reap what we sow, it says in the bible " whatever you do unto others will be done unto you."

I think there comes a point where even Jesus wouldn't let evil take over. I think it's ok to fight it after a certain point. I don't think God meant for us to take all of the crap you can without doing something about it. And I mean only horrible evil, not the everyday garbage.

Well, in the Bible, in Jude there is a passage that says that even Michael the Arch Angel did not argue with satan. I thought about that for a long time, and it makes sense because satan is the father of lies.
Now, when we say the battle is not ours it is because we are not equipped to fight satan one on one. Even Jesus did not argue with satan, but quoted scripture to satan in the desert.
Evil will never defeat good- sometimes its seems like evil is winning, but our God is so much more and bigger than satan will ever be.
Should we fight against evil- certainly. But only knowing that God is in the battle too and has already won.
