NADA or Kelly Blue Book, one or the other has a section for classic cars, but I can't recall which one has it. It is on their website, and I have used it before. Also their is a site called classic cars.com or something like that. Do a search, type in classic car value in the Yahoo search and you will find it!

Hemmings Motor News (HMN) is a magazine you should subscribe to. You might be able to buy a single issue off a magazine rack. There are classified listings in there for asking prices for just about any year and brand of old car. Just knock off a percentage , like maybe 25%, to estimate sales price. To get more specific, there are book publishers advertising their wares in HMN.

Another option is eBay - search for a specific year, make and body style of car is or has sold for - given its condition.
