I don't think age should be a criteria in a relationship. Mutual attraction and respect are more important.

Yes, age is just a number but sometimes it is a very important number. A long time ago, I dated a girl that was 20, I was 40; it starting getting serious and I talked to her a lot about the difference in age. We finally broke it up and now 30 years later, we both regret our decision even though it seemed to be the right thing to do then. We have remained friends through the years.

I am 46,and two yaers ago I was dating a girl 20 years old see was more mature than the girls I dated that were 30 to 40, sure miss her she moved away, but it needs to be of a legal age I think it is bad when you see anyone below 18 that is with someone much older.

An 18 year old is legally old enough t make the decision her self.
I know a case of an 18 year old marrying a 62 year old and they [produced tow children and lived together for 18 yrs before he died.
She enjoyed her marriag eand it wasn't money as he wa s poor as hell.
But I think more than 10 years age difference is too much when you are under 25

Within reason yes, but I think an 18 year old dating a 65 year old is too big of a difference.

Yes and no. Yes because as long as it's legal it's fine. NO because there has to be a "window" on age or limits not too old or not too young. My window is like up to 8-10 years younger and maybe a few older then me that's about it. I'm narrowing that down too. It would be too wierd for an 18 year old female to date some one old enough to be her grandpa or great grandpa let alone her father. Sick and wierd. Visa versa.

IMO.... I think that the age gap you have shown is too wide......it's crazy for an 18 yr old to want a grandpa for sexual pleasure. He'd wanna be a fit guy to keep her interested for long. It won't last. Although as you say it's legal and they choose to do it so I hope they enjoy each other. I have an 8 year gap between my partner and that is enough for me as we are on a similar mindset.

I believe that age is a number, and it really doesnt matter, buuttt in a situation like that, Its a little odd. I don't condone it, but I myself wouldn't do it. Its like being with your grandparent. Ewe no thanks. But I do believe that age is only a number. I am 24 my hubby is 32. My mom is 45, her hubby is 55. My dad is 47, his wife is 54. (they're divorced) It just depends on maturity I think.

Under normal circumstances then I do not think that age should matter but........this does not sound normal.....lol
This is just to much of an age difference and it would lead one to believe that your friend is either dating him for his money or she is a total loser and he is the only man she could find.
Either way, it sounds gross.
