Because of Pres. Bush and the No Child Left Behind most states have raised the age to 18. I'm pretty sure that NY is one that raised the age limit......however they have so many students to deal with they take quite a while to process them. Encourage your relative to check into other options (like internet classes). Hope this helps. :)

Don't do it. At least get your high school degree! Then maybe you can find a trade or something more suited to you rather than going to college that can still give you a good way to earn a living.

yes. State guidelines requires a parent or guardian's signature for one reason, of many, that they are too young to make a premature discision on their own.

I don't know, but are you thinking of dropping out of school ? If you are...don't do it. The key to success lies in education.
