I'm just asking, I'm not thinking of becoming anorexic. I know the serious health risks of this.

First, I must stress, anorexia is a mental illness and NOT something to consider doing.
Second, when a person looses weight (whether "overweight", pregnant, etc) their skin will be "baggy" but it is not considered "extra skin". The skin has collagen fibers in it which stretch. When the pressure is gone (the fat, baby, etc) the skin appears to be floppy because it cannot shrink back up again. That's where stretch marks come from.

Yes, they will have a lot of extra skin, especially around their lower stomach, upper arms, and actually it gets pretty bad around their bottom side (LoL I didn't know how to put that nicely). Another problem that occurs when overweight people become anorexic is the amount of muscle mass that they lose. It's nearly impossible for recovering anorexics to get their bodies back when this happens because the hanging skin won't go away and muscles are difficult to repair and build. It's a terrible process.

Hmmm it really depends on the weight of the overweight person. I've heard that it's usually 100lbs lost that leaves people with extra saggy skin, but it can shrink just like it stretches.
One of my overweight friends became anorexic a year ago, and to be honest you'd never know he was ever overweight. Anywhere I've seen - his arms, calves and neck/head - all have firm, tight skin. It's quite puzzling!

Yes overweight people, seriously overweight people who loose a lot of weight quite often have skin that is loose...sometimes people get surgery for that.

If you are really big and loose a lot of weight you will have folds of excess skin which can only be removed by surgery. Any drastic diet should be supervised by your Doctor.

I think it depends a lot on how quick you'd lose it. If u lost like 5 pounds a month and kept working on it i think you skin would adapt easily.

No, skin is stretchable. There might be some flab for a while though; but the younger you are, the faster you recover.

Skin is stretchy. It would adapt to the new shape of your body.
