Ok, I'am a Christian and I do know how to have fun. I hang out with my friends, who are also Christians. I go to the movies, shopping, church, bible study. I still laugh, talk, joke conversate. I'm extremley happy and at peace now that I'am serving the Lord. I've never had the kind of fun that I have now,, AND I'M A CHRISTIAN!! People are always going to have something to say whether we are christians or not.. Who cares! For those of us that are really truly serving him in spirit and in truth,, all we should be worried about is obeying AND PLEASING our LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST.. To those of you who are God Bless! And continue having fun in the name of Jesus!

I don't see what the big deal is about this! If people are Christian, or Non-Christian, it does not really matter! People want & do what feels good to them! Everyone has their own thoughts! If we were to worry constantly about what others think of us for the things that we do, we would be doing nothing with our lives! Thinking negative about ourselves is not helping us at all! If people were more worried about being judged by God in stead of the people for what they are doing wrong, then they would be trying to do right for themselves and their families
and pay more attention to their families, themselves, and to God!!!!!!! They would be worring more about the judgment that they will be recieving from God not the judgment that people give to them! Yes their are Laws in this world that should be followed! But Remember those Laws were given to us by Our Almighty God, not Man! Man put forth Gods Laws for us to follow wisely! So that when we do face God on Judgement Day, we will know that it was our decisions to make which way that we wanted to go! God's Judgement is the only True Judgement That Honestly Matters!!!!!
God Bless!!!!

I'm having more fun as a Christian than I did before I was one and I don't feel like an idiot in the morning. Keeping the "Fun" in fundamental is OK but it shouldn't be our #1 priority in life. Actually most activities in life are fun, except stuff like going to the dentist. Just having fellowship with other Christians is great. Helping someone who needs help is fun, like bringing groceries to someone who's sick. Fun just finds you if you're a Christian who is right with God. You don't have to look for it.

I think this is based on a stereotype of Christians in general that is slightly true, but incorrect overall. Yes, there are some boring Christians, but plenty of "normal" Christians as well.
Actually, being a Christian has nothing to do with being boring or socially inept or anything like that at all - but some people think it does.

I play basketball and volleyball in a league. I'm a long distance runner. I love to hike and backpack. I race my Mountain Bike and often win on some pretty grueling courses. I love to listen to music, but my preference is contemporary Christian music (FFH and Casting Crowns mostly). I'm a Buffalo wings fanatic (love to try different flavors everywhere I go). I like to go to the Ocean and boogie board.oh, and I love to worship the Lord.
My pastor rides a Harley and organized a "bike run" fundraiser this year.

They are correct because their definition of "fun" often includes activities that a Christian cannot participate in, such as drinking alcoholic beverages, use of illegal drugs and tobacco, illicit sex, etc.
Of course, there are many fun activities that both Christians and non-christians have in common : good, uplifting music (playing and /or listening to); boating; sky diving; etc.
Personally, as a Christian, I often play the guitar or electronic keyboard and sing. I sometimes play chess.

Just a few weeks ago my friend and I hit a couple of clubs in a nearby city. He recently left a punk band and wanted to catch a few of our friends performing.
A couple of times a year someone will throw a party. Contrary to popular belief, we do get drunk on occassion. We do what normal people do with their friends. We see movies, we hang out, we play poker once a month,

Christians do all the same things that non Christians do. Only thing we try to do is keep the bible in mind while we're doing it. That's what people get misunderstood, and it's irritating.

Barbecues, boating, drinking, living, playing, loving, working, raising family, .....everything....we just have a faith placed in Jesus that non-believers do not. If we feel we have gone too far, we pray, if we need help, we pray......
Basically, we just live, try to live right, if we don't live right, we feel guilty, because we have our love and belief placed in Jesus. At least we feel something when we do wrong. We pray...then we try again and try to do better than the last time we asked for forgiveness....
It's a good life.
