I dont think you would get squat from the government, you would have to prove via a doctor that you are not able to work.

You don't get cash from the government. The best you can do is claim money from an insurance company. All that does is raise rates on everybody. Including you.

In a personal injury suit, you sue the person at fault. Not the govt.

Nope. I was involved in an accident--got hit from behind. I wasn't hurt and I told the cops that and later the other's insurance man. I just didn't want to blatantly lie for my own wealth, although I could have used the money. You see, Sick Puppie does have morals.

Huh, that's an idea ... but not a good one.

I didn't know that the goverment gave out money to people who were in car accidents. I thought that was called auto insurance.

You would be suing the person (or their insurance company) that hit you. And no, I would never do that. I would ask for exactly how much it takes to fix my car. I consider people who do those sorts of things immoral.
