I have read three. I know some people who started giving PB&J's at 1 year.

1 yr is pretty risky because if there are any peanut allergies- ask your Dr to make sure but I think your right at 3 yrs old. Also your suppose to stear clear of eggs because of allergies...but again ask your pediatrician/Dr

I'm pregnant with my 3rd child and I'm pretty sure my boys were about 18mos when I gave them peanut butter. And like several people have said, make sure you don't spread it on too thick, and DO NOT give the crunchy kind yet. I gave both of them PB&J's cut into quarters and they loved it.

start giving it after the age of 2 yrs..giving peanut butter at age of 1 is a lil risky.

If you give a one yr old peanut butter, be sure you spread it on bread or crackers VERY THIN..... Peanut butter has a tendency to stick in the throat if it's spread on thick. Be very careful.

My doctor said it was OK at 2 since there has never been a peanut or nut allergy in either my side or hubby's side of the family

My son is 14 mths and loves PB&Js.He started eating them at 1yr.His doctor said it was ok because of the protein,but it is also fatty.

I think I started giving it to her around 2 years old - but like someone else mentioned - I always spread it very thin.
