That is exactly what I did in January. I got married at Chapel at the Park in Gatlinburg. They do everything... pictures, flowers, decorating. (no reception, but can be arranged) We showed up, got dressed (and they can help if you need formal wear), got married and was off to celebrate. I loved the people and the white chapel was absolutely beautiful. If I had it to do over again, I would definitely go back. Check out their website.

They can even help you get discounted cabins your honeymoon...as well as any family and friends that want to be there. Many different packages to choose from. Hope this helps.

The Ripley's aquarium is excellent. they have an underwater tunnel you are able to go via. also, Gatlinburg has a 4th of July parade that regularly attracts round one hundred,000 human beings. Plan on it being very crowded. i trust this year they could have a particular tribute to the militia. in case you want a more effective quiet time i ought to characterize Cades Cove or acontinual alongside the Foothills expressway.

i don't have an exact answer but many of those in Gatl. area have an ugly parking lot or an old motel right beside them--real close, and that does not look nice. Ask if they have pretty acreage around it.
