haha, actually Plants trees convert CO2 into breathable gasses. but we cut em all down...

When we breathe in, our bodies utilize the oxygen to keep us alive, and when we breathe out, we exhale co2 (carbon dioxide).
Obviously, given the world's population (and we all breathe, that's for sure), there must be a way for the planet to convert this co2 back into oxygen if we are to sustain life on this planet - and, as you have already found out on previous answers, it's the plants and trees that take in this co2, and with a little help from the sun, convert it into carbon and release the oxygen back into the air.
co2, in and of itself, is not bad for the environment in an ecologically balanced system - it gets a little shaky, however, when we throw smoke stacks and vehicles into the mix.

co2 is not THAT bad, that it should be made to disappear. It's tremendously useful! The trees all around us won't ever ever survive without co2! And that means no o2-no us! The recent problems that are arising are due to EXCESS of co2.We have to keep in look whether there is abnormal (excess) presence of co2.For that planting of trees(not just 1/2) so that to build up huge forest areas are needed,so that Earth can remain"a green planet" and the creatures who gave her this name may exist Along with their normal environment.

Well! who told u that CO2 is all that bad. It is excess of CO2 that is bad. Plants need CO2 and also it prevents huge temperature differences b/w day and night. But excess of it causes excessive heating. That is why nature made trees to balance the atmospheric gases. There is a way to keep it within reasonable limits- PLANT MORE TREES and TAKE CARE OF UR ENVIRONMENT.

there are several project underway to called "sequestration" which injects CO2 into coal seams deep underground.
This serves two main purposes:
1. it reduces the amount of CO2 because the CO2 is adsorbed onto the face of the coal cleats (or cracks);
2. the CO2 being adsorbed onto the face of the coal releases the methane CH4 which is a very clean burning form of natural gas.

Making it disappear would be a monumental undertaking and is currently impossible. Remember that trees and plant life need CO2 for photo synthesis so making CO2 disappear is not a good idea.

We already found a way to make it disappear, its called plants, they take in CO2 and make O2
And if I'm not mistaken, aren't environmental issues and solutions ( such as hybrids, and taking the bus/metro ) being broadcasted over the news all the time?

You know what absorbs CO2? Trees! If more trees were saved/planted, they'd absorb all the CO2 pollutants we produce through cars and whatnot.

CO2 is used by plants to make O2. Be an awful shame to run out of that.

Well, here's a thought: stop breathing. That's carbon dioxide coming out of you every time you exhale.
