Hi There,
The colors that you pick should be determines by what is staying in your kitchen. You mentioned the countertop but nothing else. What about your appliances? are they staying? if so what color. How much natural light and how much additional light are in the room.

If the room is somewhat dark you will probably want to stay in the lighter color range if not you will have a lot more choices.

Pick colors that will cordinate well with what will be staying in the room. Also before commiting to the colors you pick take samples and place them in the kitchen where they will be used. Sometimes they look a great deal different in your hand or in the store than what they will look like where you will be using them

Good luck

OH my gosh. Safari? I recommend no longer getting certainly one of those fuzzy throw blankets they sell on vacant lot highway corners. in case you fairly, fairly need to flow with the safari subject matter i'd paint the partitions right this moment up GOLD. I recommend, at that element why carry lower back? For the daughters room - lower back with the cliche? i do no longer choose to be recommend, yet that is no longer very unique. Why no longer something fairly much less in demand, yet nevertheless undying, like flowers or butterflies, which you would be able to get extra inventive with? i'd flow with a nuetral interior the kitchen so are not caught with something once you agree directly to flow from roosters to cows. For the mattress room you may borrow my room's subject matter that's upscale pirates (think of upscale Carribean tropical sense with tasteful pirate products like bronze statues and ornate skulls with framed classical pirate artwork. good success.

I think cream would look nice with the green counter tops and brighten it up. Make sure you sand and use a good primer before you paint the cabinets or it won't stay on.

I really don't want to offend you, but first of all you give no details. Second,,,there won't be any right or wrong answers here only personal choices and opinions,,,which hopefully you have on your own?

It's YOUR place,,,you have to live in it,,,,Hopefully, comfortably. Choose, or make your decisions based on what YOU like. Whai i like, what others here may like, might not be at all what YOU like?

The GOOD news is PAINT can always be PAINTED OVER.

I am a decorating consultant. I am not sure your though what your style is. Do you like:
Tropical- go golds, deep reds, and rich warm woods and rattan.
Casual- toiles, creams, black and beige, painted furniture, roosters, etc
Contemporary- anything goes as far as color, clean looks though
Classic- rich jewel tones, nice metals, florals etc.
What color green is your countertop?

I would use bright, happy colors like yellow or a pastel green.

when I redid my kitchen I did a French Provencial theme-yellow walls--deep blue and yellow fabric from France with black olives & lemons on it....black wrought iron plate racks on walls, it is cheery and bright.
