I did it once, because I had a feeling that the guy was cheating. He was, but I realized afterward that I really didn't need to, because if I didn't trust him anyway there was no relationship left.

No,But when I was a teen I used to ride past this girls' house who was rumored to be sleeping with my boyfriend, eventually I caught him,and she did too.We told him that he had to choose and he said"I don't want either of you".Can you imagine how ashamed we both were? Well needless to say,I learned my lesson.I know now that if you look for trouble, you will find it.My fiance' asked if he could get a cell and I said sure.I don't care why he wants it,and I never look through it or answer it,even when he mistakenly leaves it home(I am a stay at home mom) while he goes to work.It will ring and I won't even bother to look at the caller I.D. My sister and I call it "getting your face broken".That's when you go looking for trouble and you find it.The only thing you accomplished was hurting your own self.I try not to get my face broken.I believe that what's done in the dark, will come to the light.I don't have to go looking for it,it will come to me.,and when it does....I leave the relationship no questions asked or discussion,if its something I can't deal with.End of story.

I have had the willpower to NOT do it when tempting.
Instead, I note it to myself that I feel insecure and question why I dont trust them..
I once had my notebook violated. The guy read EVERYTHING.. and I used to make up poetry from other peoples point of view.. perspective.. that kind of thing. Well, the guy thought all of it was about him and took it rather offensively.. so, long story shorter.. best sex I ever had up until that point with anyone.. then it was DONE once I found out.
damn man.. his insecurity ruined a damn fine relationship!

I send out some really hot text messages so I would hope no one looks at the messages I send. Therefore I will not check the phone when it left alone.

OMG... I have done it in desperation, but what is worse is what happened 3 weeks ago with my best friend (prior friend with benefits). I was texting him and I was not getting a response. I finally texted him good night and then one hour later some chick texted me from a number I didn't know.... "Leave my man alone" so I called the number back and asked her who she was and she said it was none of my business and then started calling me all these names. I found out it was his friend that he had just met and they were both drunk. She had looked at his phone while he was in the rest room, took my number and started harrassing me. He had no clue it was me and he came out of the bath room and was laughing because he thought it was someone else who she was talking to. Then he founf out it was me, I drove down to his house and told her if she was going to call me all those names she was going to have to do it to my face. I got all my stuff I had left at his house and told him to never call me. I found out a few days later after I had cooled down that he stopped talking to her because of all that and that she stole my number and he didn't know it was me on the phone when he was laughing.

I've done it to old boyfriends, but with the guy I'm with now, I haven't had the urge to. I trust him. From what I know, no one has ever done it to me, but the whole point is not to get caught, so it could have happened and I just don't know about it.

I have never done it and I have never let anyone do that to me.
It's such an invasion of privacy.
I wouldn't care if my "boyfriend" looked at my text messages. I'd be like "Yeah, I'm cheating on you, so what? You're the one who didn't believe me when I said that I don't like being with you."

i did and he did that too.. we're open to each other.. all internet and email accounts we know each other's password not because we dont trust each other it's just we share each other's privacy because for us we're one, nothin to hide, nothin to be afraid of.. and if ever there are numbers or messages from someone else who's infatuated or got a crush on either of us we just talk and laugh about it.. =D we're not only bf/gf we also treat each other as best friends..
