It really depends on the situation. I know if i got royally screwed by my sisters, or they did something very sinister then yes i would take them to court.

Talk to your sister. You owe her money. Whatever else you may have done counts $0 toward a monetary debt unless you talked about it beforehand, or if you can agree to lower the amount you owe her now.

In any event, you are sisters - family - and whatever disagreements you have can and should be straightened out between you. I'm sorry you're mother had to have a pacemaker implanted, but she must have had other problems besides you and your sister bickering. She has undoubtedly heard you and your sister bickering over the years - siblings do that.

Do not allow money come between you now. If you must, get a second job and start paying her back. You owe it to her. Don't let this become a court case.

if you owe MONEY you pay it back point blank you don't say well wait wait i did u a favor before to not the way it works you can't ask her to 4give a debt because you did something 4 free b4. If you wanted paid 4 the services you did you should have ASK then you can't go back now and say well i';m not paying u because i did this this and that b4. PAY UP stop this family drama own up to what you owe. your both to blame 4 the stess your moms under it takes two to fight

No one knows the situation so you aren't going to get really good advice here. Do what you have to do. I'm sure there are other sides to this problem which aren't being expressed here. This is what going to court is all about: telling the story from everybody's point of view and getting a neutral person to give a binding decision.

First that didn't cause your Mother to need a pacemaker, that's a rhythm problem with the heart so stop blaming her. If you owe her money pay it, at least 20.00 a week until your debt is paid.
