The secret to learning to fly, it to learn to throw yourself at the ground and miss. Of course missing is not an easy thing to do and takes lots of practice.

Legend has it that some very saintly people have been able to levitate, although it has never been scientifically proven.
One of the most famous was St. Teresa of Avila, and there are also legends that Hindu and Buddhist sages were able to fly. The Indians call this a 'Siddhi' or a special power.
However, most accounts agree that this power is only available to the very saintly and pure.
If you want to experience this the best way be in a lucid dream. The next time you are dreaming, try to fly. It's easy and fun!

Go hang gliding or learn to sky dive. Go get your pilots license. Lots of people have that dream. Unless you just think you can fly. Dear Jumping without a parachute only gives you seconds of flying time and then it's all over. There used to be a place in Big Bear California that would give you a simulation flight of a hang glider. You start at the top of Snow Summit (summer). Really just a ride, but lots of fun just the same.

I was going to answer, "just get in a plane", but you ruined my fun. Did you ever watch the movie, "The Boy Who Could Fly"? It won't help you fly, but it's a great movie. Maybe your visions of flying have something to do with airplanes. Are you interested in flying lessons? Flying high in the sky on your own (as a pilot) might lead your further towards your vision.

I will take you seriously and will tell you that unless you are a bird or a bat or a flying insect or a kite, you're not getting off the ground. Maybe, you dream just means that you have high aspirations and you want to attain them.

Nope. merely positioned: they're insects. they're so small and primitive relative to us that "respect", like many of the international round them, is going precise over their heads. quite, your basic puppy or kitten or maybe human toddler has way more beneficial happening in its head than your basic insect does. insects are literally tiny residing robots--they eat, molt, develop, eat some more beneficial, molt and develop some more beneficial, breed and then die. And even as there is larval tiers for some and issues for others, it really is especially solidly authentic of all of them. They do the business enterprise of life just about totally in a reflexive, mechanical way. And maximum vertebrate life receives this: maximum land vertebrates kill even if insects they run into (or eat them, as some birds, amphibians and reptiles do). Flies and so on in certain have advanced to reproduce through the thousands merely to atone for that. there's a metaphor in the following someplace, about trolls in this information superhighway, i'm confident. Or a minimum of the bots[*]. Pun meant.

Sorry. The only way for humans to fly is "artificially" in an airplane.
Anything else would mean death. Then, you would "fly" to Heaven. But, I wouldn't rush it if I were you.
