Oh yeah, they still do. My family is nortorious for having more than two children and we are Catholic. Latinos are known to have many children because that is what their culture tells them to do, but it is not just their culture. Indians, Muslims, Catholics, Mormons, Jews, Irish, and some other cultures and religions are taught the same thing. One of my step-sisters has five children. A woman I heard of in Utah has about 16 children and I hear that she is expecting another. How she can afford it or how she can take care of them, I do not know. I had a younger brother who passed away recently and my mother told that I have two older brothers that I have never met. My step-father had five children, three girls and two boys (my younger brother being one of those boys). There are seven and a half billion people on this planet. Think about that.

Most people I know only have two kids. My parents had two kids and so did my stepdad, but my aunt has three, and my new stepmother has five kids (three still under 18 and living in the house) so I guess it's not entirely unheard of, just a little more uncommon.

hello I have 4 kids, my husband's father has 6, some friends from church last I knew had 11, my sister has 3 living one miscarriage, one of my sister in law are about to have a 4th and has also had a miscarriage, another sister in law is about to have #3. My neighbors have 4 girls.
yes people are having less children but there are still plenty of us who are having what is now considered large families. It really isn't costing my family that much more and if God should decide he would want me to have another then so be it. Have a great day!!!

Well, we just had a baby 4 months ago. I also have a teenage daughter from a previous marriage. If my husband has his way it won't matter if it takes us 6 girls before we have our boy. So, yes. People do still have more than two kids these days.

I think more people are opting to only have 1-2 kids because kids are expensive. I think there are still a fair amount of people who have 3 kids, but people who have more than 3 kids are fewer.

I saw a program advertised on the Health Channel that seems to be about a couple with 16 children, and the wife is expecting #17 any minute.
They've pretty much taken up the slack for their entire block, I'd say.
