I hear voices in my PC tower, what does this mean?

You've posted this in the mental health section so I'm guessing that you think the voices are not really there?

It is possible you have some slight psychosis (hearing, seeing or smelling things that aren't really there). This can be very very frightning, but easily treated. If you get it treated straight away then the chances of it returning are slim.

Go to your GP, tell him what's been happening and what the voices are saying. He'll get you the help you need.

If it is just a missed connection in the pc and you've posted it in the wrong place, please accept my apologies.

All the best.

Ok first are these like clear voices or are they muffled/ghostlly sound? another question is are these happening while your computer in active and you surfing? I ask these because it can be your sound card or a internal speaker in your PC tower. If its not then on a super natural note a ghost can be trapped in side, on a mental health not it can be you mind causeing these voices to apear but are only keyed when a/multiple vibrations/tones are present. But check the PC to see if it has a inner speaker. Oh another thing it can be is echos its picking up from sounds that are unable to be heard by the ear but get amplified so then you can slightly make them out.

Hi.
You may have explored this possibility, but occasionally I get voices in the background on my speakers.
Further investigation has shown the Pc picks up local radio traffic from taxi companies,short-wave radios and delivery drivers. This may be the case if you have an internal PC speaker. However,if the voices are telling you to go out and wreak havoc on the known universe, some 'PC-Exorcist' type software may be available.
Hope it helps.
