Build a nesting box and place the egg in it. You may have a new baby Love Bird in about 30 days.

First we need to know if you were planning on breeding them? Even if youre not....you should still let the female lay a full clutch otherwise they will keep laying eggs and this will make her sick.

are they both female. My doves used to do that all the time. they are dumb and confused and think the other bird will fertilize it!
