Why do people have children and when the relationship ends, they think its ok to leave their children high and dry without any support and turn right around and have more children?

it's selfish and immaturity that leads to nonpayment of childsupport....on both sides.

That is a good question for my ex husband! I had the first and he went on to have 3 more with 3 different women, for a grand total of 4. He has never seen any of them and does not pay the court ordered child support on any of them.

Simple - they don't want to give their ex-wife money. If there was a way to take care of the kids without giving it to the ex-wife they probably would do that. When they see the ex-wife buying new clothes, getting her nails done, new hairdos, they know the money is coming from their child support $.

You have to look at the past of this mom and dad. Were they raised that way? If so, that is what they know as "appropriate" and it is, in a sense, history repeating itself.

I honestly don't think that they even think about it. Most of the people who do that are just a bunch of irresponsible A$$ holes.
