O yea and last year their dog died on our lawn and they thought we killed it and then they poisoned my dog, how do we konw this our neighbor saw her giver her rat poison. Should i report this to someone ? if so who?and also my dog has all his shots and thier dog

It's not your dog's fault if the other dog stuck his leg through the fence - no matter what breed he is. Definitely tell your parents, in case these people report you to animal control or sue for the vet costs.
Put up a solid fence between your yards or wire up some plywood panels on the fence so the dogs can't see or bite each other.

If the other dog stuck his paw thru the fence, your dog was acting in self defense. As long as their dog is not hurt enough to go to a vet, there is nothing they can do. They may make a report to the animal control about the dog bite, but I don't think AC will try to do anything. As far as them giving your dog rat poison and killing it, you would have a pretty good case if the neighbor is willing to testufy. However, you do not have any evidence showing how the dog died and it has been a year, so they may not do anything. I don't know how long you have before you fiel a case like that. You should have made a report when it happened, and had a necropsy(autopsy) done to determine cause of death.
As far as their dogs not having tags, that doesn't mean anything. Our dogs are vaccinated every year for rabies, parvo, etc but they do not wear tags. We have the tags and the papers showing their shots, but we o not keep them on the dogs.

yes, differently tell your parents exactly what happened. if your parents want to press charges against your neighbor then let them. your parents should have a long time back. also suggest to them about putting up a privacy fence about 6 to 7 ft high on that side of the yard at least. that way there is no way the other dog can even get anything in or near your yard. make sure all gates are closed and locked with some sort of lock so your neighbors cant get into your yard. also it would be wise to chain your dog on the other side of the yard until you get the privacy fence up. that way you are controlling where your dog is. since your pesky (to put it nicely) neighbors cant seem to contain their dog properly and that way they cant file a complaint about you/your parents not being able to contain your dog. that's the last thing you need is a law suit war ending up with both or one dog being put down over something stupid.
best of blessing to you.

To cover your a$$, you need to tell your parents and it may not hurt to call the police. Your parents need to be prepared for any legal action as they could be sued. Being that their dog came into your dog's fenced area, their dog is at fault. I don't think that will stop them from coming after you either legally or not-so legally. Did you report them when they poisoned your other dog? If not, you should. Make sure you have proof of your dog's rabies shot status. He may still need to be quarantined depending on the laws in your area. I would seriously consider reporting the neighbor to animal control/animal welfare for neglect. In the future, try to make sure someone's always watching your dog so if they try anything you can catch them. Maybe even videotape your dog's activities. Take pictures and/or video of the area your dog was in at the time. If they try to sue/press charges, demand to see the vet report and maybe even get a second opinion (at your own expense). Also, keep an eye on the neighbor's dog...if you think it's injured and they don't get it treated, they may be guilty of neglect.

First, yes, tell your parents and tell them how you know what happened with the husky. Then you may call the ASPCA in your area,(Look in the yellow pages) and tell them that you believe your neighbors dogs are not being given their shots and that the dogs are very flea infested. Too many fleas can kill a dog!! If your don't have a listing for the ASPCA , call the health department and tell them fleas from your neighbors dogs are infesting your house and you want something done! Good luck!

Well it would really piss me off. But you should talk to your neighbor face to face and tell her what really happened. And warn her that your dog is food aggressive. I would tell your parents if what I suggested first isn't working. And if anything or they keep causing trouble for you, I would file a complaint at the police department.

I have a Husky, so BAD PITBULL!!!
Just kidding, but yes tell your parents this happened. Considering the past with the neighbors, they need to be aware in case anything comes of this.

Tell your parents what happened immediately and let them deal with it.from now on I suggest you try to keep your dog as far away from the fence as possible to keep this from happening again.
