Your pit bull is just expressing his energy...is he still a puppy, or full-grown? If he's a growing pup, he needs to be occupied all the time (except when he's asleep), or else he'll get into lots of mischief.
Even when they're very young (10 weeks and up), pit bulls are very strong, and need to exercise...alot. A fenced-in area in your yard, or a long daily walk/jog, will help your dog to burn up all the energy he has.
As for the Pomeranian: smaller breeds are (usually) naturally high-strung. Take the Pom with you on your daily walks, just to exhaust him. Also, instead of feeding the Pom one "big" meal per day, try dividing his food up into smaller portions, several times per day. That will take some getting used to (for you, and for the dog), but the dog will develop a more reliable "schedule": he'll be energetic during the day, and he'll sleep (or at least, be more calm) at night).

Pomerania dogs are just hyper. I hav not met one that was not. As for the pit bull it will take time they have lots of enegy. Try running or going to the park if you can with them. Get them into a routine so they wil learn when to play and when not to.

Besides the "get more exercise" generic answers, they recommend that when your dogs show a crazy amount of energy when you first walk in the door you should ignore them until they "calm down" otherwise you are reinforcing the behavior with your attention. Tell others who come over the house also to ignore them until they are calm. If you yell, shout, or look at them, they know they have gotten your attention and they will never stop. No eye contact either! Believe me, this really works.

Exercise, exercise and more exercise. At the LEAST a 20 minute walk each day, or a good 10 minute ball chasing session. Dependent on his age it may take a year or two until he is mentally able to realize he's an adult dog. Also neutering if you haven't already.

Next time, if you want a more calm, small dog, get a Pembroke Welsh Corgi. Sweetest, most easy-going dog I've ever had. Not the smartest dog in the yard, though.

Are they fixed? That usually helps alot..Do they get regular walks and playtime? Yes, both! Pomeranian are high-energy dogs anyway...maybe you should research the breed a little...should of before you got one! Also, how old are they? If they are puppies they're gonna be very active! Give them toys-like Kongs, balls, maybe a rope toy..Play with them!

1:get them fixed
2:exercise them
3:research the breed before you buy
alot of dogs calm down with age but some breeds are more energetic than others . with proper training and medical care and exercise the problem should get better. good luck
