I work with ths girl who has a friend - I have asked the girl i work with if i will ever get the chance to meet her and unfortunately i was not at work when she came in. The girl at work has given me her username on a chatsite so i can see who she is - I have just fallen in love!! Thing is I can send a message but the girl in question does not know (i think) that her friend has given me her ID - maybe it is girls playin a game in an innocent fashion I am not sure - do I wait until monday morning to speak to the girl i work with OR do I leave a message and when she comes into the workplace act suprised and treat it as a huge coincidence ??? or any other ideas would be helpful - please keep it sensible

This all smacks a little of hide and seek- the fact that you have got your friend involved could lead to all sorts of problems or misunderstandings.
My plan would be to put smartest clothes on, walk up to her desk with a small bunch of flowers and say 'Hi- these are for you. Hope you like them' and walk off.
A bit like the film 'Officer and a gentleman',but in reverse.
Avoid eye contact and don't look for a reaction.
She'll let you know one way or the other and it saves on typing.
Besides,it shows a lot more style,don't you think?
And nerve. Women like well-intentioned nerve.

speak to the girl at work, find out the situation and then leave a message for the girl with the username

just send her a friendly message. explain to her that your co-worker gave you her email address so she does not think you are a stalker. and just say that you really would like to get to know her better and if there was a possible way that this could happen. dont make yourself sound to desperate. leave some mystery.
if she does not response to you, forget her, the co-worker might had playing a head game with you.
if she does, just play it by ear.
