Depends on what they are testing. If it cosmetics or oven cleaner, then yes. If it is necessary medical drugs, then I am all for it. So is everyone who takes any kind of medicine,or has ever had any surgery. How do you think all those things came about????? How do you think they got the drugs they have today to treat HIV???? The cure for any disease will come from animal testing. Sad, but true.

A lot of animal testing is done on rabbits. They are blinded by having stuff poured in their eyes, or poisoned by being forced to ingest it. I am definitely against that. I do not use products made by Proctor & Gamble because they do the animal testing.
It is more problematical with human medications, hormones, surgery etc. They usually use rats or chimpanzee's for that. Most scientists agree that it is not entirely nessessary.
I don't put humans or their health above the other species on this earth.

I am completely against animal testing. Animals have no say in the matter. Test on humans, ask for volunters.
I have a condition that will eventually prove fatal. The medication that would help (but not cure) was tested on animals. For this reason, I will not take the medication. I am in constant pain because of this, but it's my decision. They didn't volunteer to have these medications tested on them. Any many animals die each year because of these tests. It's not right, and it never will be.

It is unfair... and God wants us to take care of the earth... but what else are we to use? I AM against it, I just don't know what we could test on otherwise. Of course we could just stop testing and things could hurt people... and when the company stops people lose jobs... and people die cuz there are no other jobs. But this all opinion, right?

Yes!! I think it is terrible and will only buy products that label the containers stating that no animal testing has been done.

yes,it is so mean what they do to them...but if they are using them for example a cat used to test a cat product it isn't bad, they are just testing to see if the product works before they start selling it
