One trick I learned on my own is to get a cotton ball, put some rubbing alcohol on it and place it on the bump. It may sting a little but it does work. It you still have the need to itch then soak the cotton ball and put in on again, this time leave it on longer. It will help!

Good old fashoned AMMONIA. Apply with a cotton ball, or the end of a finger. "After Bite" (same stuff) will cost you about $3 a tube for about 2 oz. You can buy a half gallon of ammonia for about 98 cents.

Use hydrocortizone ointment (might say "allergy cream"). You can get it at any drug or grocery store. It will block the histamine reaction and help with itching and swelling.
