I'm doing a project on New Zealand. Basically, I just any info or facts that you know and I need to know your source, as in what site.

Famous people; Ed Hillary (Everest), Ernie Rutherford (nuclear physics), Fred Hollowes (eye surgery for poor Nepalese), Dave Gray (Aramoana massacre), Kiri Te Kanawa, Alan McDiarmid (electrically conducting plastics). Languages; English and Maori are the two official ones. NZ sign language has been proposed as a third. Others commonly used are Samoan and Chinese. Food; whitebait fritters, toheroa soup, muttonbirds, hangi cooking, roast mutton with three veggies, huhu grubs, rotten corn, kumera (sweet potato), pavlova, green lipped mussels, manuka honey, puha (water cress), Lemon and Paeroa (soft drink made with spring water). Places of interest; Ninety Mile Beach, Auckland Sky Tower, Rotorua, Huka Falls, Waiouru Army Museum, Pu Pu Springs, said to be the world's clearest water, Antarctic Centre in Christchurch, Queenstown, Wanaka, Fiordland National Park, Stewart Island.

1)sir edmund hillary the first man to ever climb mount everest,
sir peter blake, dame kiri te kanawa, crowded house, phar lap, phil keogan(the amazing race), peter jackson(lotr),karen walker(fashion designer), all black rugby team, kate winslet(titanic), anna paquin(the piano, xmen) and the list goes on.
2)we have three main languages, english(main), maori and sign language
3)traditional food is the hangi, food cookked underground. Typical nz food is hotdogs, fish and chips and a good bbq
4)the whole country is of interest. There are things to do from cape reinga(the very top of new zealand) right down to stewart island(the very bottom)name your poisen, skiing, the zorb, an active volcanic city, the tallest building in the southern hemisphere, white and black water rafting, fishing, ab sailing, bungy jumping, wine trails, shot over jet, sand dune buggying, hiking and trekking, good luck trying to find one. Our beautiful country is called the land of the free, the land of the long white cloud and gods own. If you ever get the chance to come over, you will see why.
